Platte Valley Medical Clinic is a multi-specialty practice located on the Kearney Regional Medical Center campus.

Our team of medical professionals are proud to carry on the 65 year tradition of serving patients throughout Nebraska, Kansas and beyond. Our team of providers have been proudly serving patients from communities in Central Nebraska, Northern Kansas, and beyond for over 60 years. We provide excellent medical care to our patients by offering access to a wide range of medical disciplines and services within a cohesive group of skilled and experienced specialists. Platte Valley physicians are complemented by a team of highly skilled physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and medical technicians.

A measles case was recently confirmed in Lincoln. While rare, measles is highly contagious, so awareness is important. Early symptoms can feel like a common cold before a rash appears a few days later.

If you think you may have measles or were exposed, please call your primary care provider before visiting. This helps protect patients, visitors and our care teams.

Platte Valley Medical Clinic welcomes Tasha Wise, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC.

Tasha earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Indiana State
University and two Master of Science in nursing degrees—one in
family practice and another in psychiatric mental health—from the
University of Nebraska Medical Center.

She rejoins the clinic to provide care in general neurology, adult behavioral health and life coaching, using an integrated health approach to support family practice and internal medicine
teams.

Tasha previously served as an infusion and family practice RN at Platte Valley and worked as a neurology nurse practitioner alongside Dr. Weber and Dr. Doss before returning to school in 2023.

She is passionate about mental health awareness and su***de prevention and serves on the board of McKenna’s Rae of Hope Foundation. In her free time, she enjoys lake days with family, friends and her two black labs, as well as cooking, traveling and
cheering on UNK football. She’s also excited to welcome her first granddaughter in early 2026 and embrace her new title of “Mimi.”

Kearney Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome Kierstyn Fishell, APRN, to its Cardiology team.

Fishell brings extensive experience in cardiac and emergency care, having served as a registered nurse and team lead at Nebraska Medicine and as an emergency room nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital. She recently earned her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Clarkson College, where she completed clinical training in cardiology, internal medicine, and family practice.

Fishell holds certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP, and has completed advanced coursework in cardiac care and emergency medicine. She has also served in leadership roles, including chairman of the Cardiac Care Unit council and member of the Nursing Practice Council.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Fishell and her husband welcomed their first child earlier this year.

KRMC is excited to have her join the team and contribute to the continued excellence in cardiovascular care.
