✨ Introducing Our New Campaign: Self-Care with a Bigger Purpose ✨

This season, your journey to wellness can become hope for someone else. From January through March, we’re inviting our community to care for themselves while making a meaningful impact to those in need in the Kearney and surrounding area. With every step you take toward better health, you’ll be helping support local non-profits that are changing lives right here in our community.

💙 How It Works
Every new patient visit: We’ll donate $10 to the non-profit of your choice.Re-exams: For patients who haven’t been into the office in the last month, we’ll donate a portion of each visit as well.A little friendly competition: The non-profit that raises the most during the campaign will receive an additional matched donation from us, increasing the impact even more.

⭕️Family Advocacy Network (FAN): Supporting and strengthening families through education, direct services, and community collaboration to help break cycles of abuse across West-Central Nebraska.
⭕️The S.A.F.E. Center: Providing free, confidential support and resources for individuals affected by dating and domestic violence, s*xual assault, s*x trafficking, and stalking—while promoting awareness and prevention.
⭕️Kearney Therapeutic Horseback Riding Program (KTHRP): Enhancing emotional, physical, and social well-being through therapeutic horseback riding for individuals of all ages and abilities. The program is designed to meet the needs of individuals of all ages and disabilities in our community.

Center (Spouse/Sexual Abuse Family Education Center) is a nonprofit organization based in Kearney, Nebraska, dedicated to supporting people affected by domestic violence, dating violence, s*xual assault, human trafficking, and stalking. At its heart is a mission to offer free, confidential services that help survivors find safety, healing, and empowerment while actively working to educate and strengthen the community to prevent future violence.

I am again overwhelmed by the support we received this year for Give Where You Live. I chose this picture because it illustrates that it takes a team for this program to work, and without your support, we couldn't do it. I want to also state my deep appreciation to Cheryl for handling everything while I was dealing with my life events. Thank you all.

Give Where You Live is this Thursday. We will be in the Family Fresh parking lot form 2:30 to 5 PM. May be a little chilly, but stop by and say hi. This is one of two major fundraisers, and as demand for our services grow, so do our expenses. Any gift is deeply appreciated. Thought I'd throw out this flashback news story.

The Kearney Therapeutic Riding Program has given people the opportunity to focus on their mental, emotional and physical needs.

KTHRP was given the opportunity by the Nebraska Sports Council and Nebraska Volleyball Academy to take tickets at this event in exchange for a percentage of door receipts. We covered Saturday and Sunday and received a very generous donation. Thanks to our volunteers for stepping up to help cover the hours. As we strive to serve as many people as possible, this type of opportunity is deeply appreciated.

We’re on the shelves at Family Fresh.

We’re officially cereal box famous. Our Family, the parent company of our local Family Fresh, chose KTHRP to be featured on their store brand cereal boxes. Not sure when they’ll hit the shelves; they sent us some boxes to show off. Family Fresh has allowed us to use a corner of their parking lot for Give Where You Live each year; please support those who support us.
