This week we are celebrating Skilled Nursing Care Week with the theme, “Moments in Bloom”!

Today we kicked off the celebration by planting seeds to take home as a reminder that beautiful things grow with care, kindness, and patience. We were also treated to a wonderful performance by the Northeast Elementary show choir. Their energy and smiles brightened our day!

Thank you to everyone who helped make today so special. We can’t wait for more “Moments in Bloom” throughout the week!

We took time to honor mothers who are still with us, those who are no longer here, and the many women who have loved, guided, and cared for others like a mother. Their love and impact will never be forgotten.

On Friday, May 1st, Brookestone Hospice honored one of our residents, John, with a special veteran pinning ceremony in recognition of his service to our country. 🇺🇸

Thank you, John, for the sacrifices you made and for your willingness to serve. We are incredibly grateful for your dedication, courage, and commitment to protecting our freedoms.

During the ceremony, John shared parts of his journey and some of the many places his service took him over the years. We were honored to listen and reflect alongside him.
