Stepping Stones is a private practice created by Megan Gewecke, Psy.D. She seeks to offer quality mental health services for young adults, adults and older adults in Kearney and surrounding areas. Megan's goal is to empower clients as they continue on the path of life through development of skills and techniques in addition to identifying client strengths. Megan works with individuals on the following issues:
anxiety
depression
trauma
grief and loss
self esteem
women's issues

The client will meet with Megan for a detailed diagnostic interview, then together, they will develop an appropriate treatment plan for working toward the client's goals. Megan works in collaboration with the client's doctors, probation officers, teachers, and other supports as necessary, in order to provide the best services for the client. Because every person is different, Dr. Megan uses a variety of different techniques in therapy to assist the client. The following techniques may be used:
