Oak Pointe of Kearney Offering Assisted Living and Memory Care. Oak Pointe offers a wide range of services and amenities meant to enhance seniors' quality of life.

Oak Pointe of Kearney is a senior living community that was intentionally designed to meet the unique needs of older adults. With both assisted living and memory care services, residents have their choice of purposefully designed studios or one- or two-bedroom private apartments, each of which include a full bathroom, kitchenette, emergency call response, fire safety system, and individualized heating and cooling. The building also features a beautiful dining room, ground level courtyard, full-service salon, computer room, fitness center, on-site rehabilitation center, and much more.

More music today! We love Bob coming by every month to play and sing some ‘classics’ for us!

It’s always fantastic to see everyone singing along and taken back to some great memories from their own lives once the music starts!

It was great to have Josiah back for some morning entertainment! He sang, danced, signed, played his accordion, and had his own special guest, his service dog Charlie, to sing along too!

Our staff spotlight this month is Mary!

Mary has served as the activities assistant and yesterday was technically her last day, but we managed to convince her to come in once or twice a month and still serve the residents here at Oak Pointe!

Mary has such a joyful attitude that spreads to others and is always up for fun and silly ideas in the activities department. We've been so blessed to have her work with us, and are so thankful we continue to get to see her in 2026!

Twice a month we have FOX Rehabilitation host Fox Friday Movement. It’s been great to work with Danyelle and Regina to find some fun ways to work on coordination, flexibility, mobility, and balance.

We are beyond thankful for our in-house physical and occupational therapists and all of the work they do with our family here at Oak Pointe!

Playing Christmas

Weeks before Christmas what a thrill
If we lived in a valley or up on a hill
Time to play Christmas
Us 3 - my sisters and me
Hang up those long brown socks
Bother moma for flour, glue, string
Big scissors or a little box
Hid somewhere, now don’t you
Peek-I’m making something-
Maybe for you and it’ll be neat
