After a friend of mine finished his MBA he shared a surprising stat: only about half of MBA grads succeed in business.

At first, that made me nervous, but then he explained the difference between those who succeed and those who don’t:
✅The successful ones keep trying things until something works.

Lesson learned the hard way? I used to get frustrated when things didn’t go perfectly the first time. Now? I embrace trial and error, knowing that failure is part of growth.
Some “oops” moments are just lessons in disguise.

What’s one thing you learned the hard way this year?

Things I’ve Googled as a Men’s Health PT 🫣

Some questions don’t have simple answers, especially in men’s health.

One thing I do know: Different body parts were made for different degrees of honor, and treating pelvic floor issues with care and respect matters.

Confidence in care doesn’t mean carelessness. It means honoring the body as it was designed.

Sometimes the biggest plot twist is realizing nothing is “broken,” it just needs a new approach.

Recently, a patient moved better, felt better, and even had improved muscle tone after treatment, but still asked, “So what’s wrong?”

The real shift wasn’t more work on the symptomatic tissue. It was helping them retrain how they think about pain; learning to work with it, not against it.

Cue the Sixth Sense moment: the pain wasn’t where we thought it was the whole time. 👀

Physical therapy keeps us on our toes, and reminds us that healing is just as much about education as it is about movement.

Has anyone else experienced a plot twist/shift this week?

This is why imaging alone isn’t fixing your pain, and what actually helps.

X-rays and MRIs can show us the structure of your bones and soft tissue, but they can’t tell us which changes will lead to lasting relief.
That’s where a lot of people get stuck.
They’re told what they have, but not how to move differently to fix it.

Here’s the shift we focus on:
👉 Lasting pain relief comes from understanding and changing how your body moves, not just what the image says.

This is exactly what we help our patients uncover: clear answers, real movement changes, and a plan that actually makes sense for your body.

If you’re tired of being told “everything looks fine” while still being in pain, you’re not alone.

Trend alert for the year ahead 🚨

Physical therapy is shifting, and honestly, it’s overdue.

Patients don’t want an insurance-approved “plan of care.”They want results.

We’re seeing a clear move toward more interventional, outcome-focused care, where sessions are intentional, and patients take an active role in their own upkeep between visits.

The real question isn’t how often you see your PT.It’s whether you leave each visit knowing exactly what to do next.

This shift means fewer unnecessary visits, clearer plans, and more ownership over your recovery, and that’s exactly how we’re preparing and practicing at Renewal Physical Therapy.

If the old model has felt misaligned, you’re not imagining it.

What do you wish physical therapy did differently?

Lately, my small action has been consistent Spanish learning. 📝

Some days it’s just a few new words or a short practice session, not glamorous, not groundbreaking, but it adds up.

These little steps aren’t just about language. They’re about showing up, being consistent, and investing in growth, even when it feels small.

Little steps matter. What’s your “small win” this week?

You deserve to understand your body, not just hope the pain goes away.

You deserve a clear plan, real answers, and the confidence to take care of yourself between appointments.

At Renewal Physical Therapy, our clients don’t just walk away feeling better; they walk away knowing how to care for their bodies on their own, long after sessions end.

Because support shouldn’t create dependence. It should create confidence.

Your body is worth understanding.

If you’re ready for physical therapy that fits into your real life, we’re here.

Real talk: what might you miss out on in 2026 if we don’t work together?

➡️ Wandering from appointment to appointment without a clear plan
➡️ Needing more visits than necessary just to feel “okay”
➡️ Feeling stuck between sessions with questions and no real support

At Renewal Physical Therapy, we do things differently.
Our patients get clarity on exactly what they’re working toward, fewer visits because the plan actually works, and direct access to their PT when questions pop up, no guessing required.

If you’re ready to stop feeling stuck and start feeling supported, this might be your year.

Our focus for 2026 is simple: to order our ways with intention and humility.

“So Jotham became mighty, because he ordered his ways before the Lord his God.”— 2 Chronicles 27:6

This year isn’t about rushing or doing more. It’s about aligning our decisions, our care, and our leadership with purpose.
Showing up thoughtfully.Serving with clarity.Letting order guide how we move forward.

Rather than choosing a single word, this Scripture sets the tone for how we want to practice, lead, and care in 2026.

Some years are about big wins.
This one? It’s been more about patient plodding.

🧠 I’ve spent time refining tools and systems to make sure patients leave with more than relief; they leave with clarity, confidence, and the ability to take care of their own bodies in the long run.

🙌 I’ve gained a clearer vision for how I want Renewal PT to serve, not just as a place for symptom relief, but as a launch pad for whole-life stewardship and strength.

🤝 And I’ve built new connections with physical therapists who share that mission, to serve with integrity, faith, and a long view in mind.

No gimmicks. No fluff. Just faithful, focused work that I pray will keep making a difference for years to come.

Thanks for being part of it.

Looking ahead to 2026, I’m not just making business goals.
I’m praying for deeper change, starting with putting to death Acedia, the kind of spiritual sloth that dulls the soul and disconnects us from the life we’ve been given.

My hope?
🙏🏻 To see that sin more completely killed off at the cross.
🙏🏻 To experience more and more eternal life in Christ.
🙏🏻 To work, live, and rest from that place.

What’s one shift, big or small, you want to make in the new year?

The Christmas story isn’t soft.

It’s not just a silent night and a sleeping baby. It’s a war. A real battle. One that started before we were born, and one Christ came to win.

Revelation 12 shows us what’s really happening behind the manger: a dragon waiting to devour, a woman giving birth in agony, and a child who would rule all nations.

This is Christmas: not sentimental, but victorious.

The Light of the World entered the battle and crushed the enemy.

Let’s celebrate that this season.

Merry Christmas. Victory is here.
