My journey into this field began out of necessity when traditional medicine failed to address my health challenges. Diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease, Bartonella, Babesia, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, ankylosing spondylitis, and a double mutation of the MTHFR gene, I struggled with debilitating symptoms, including chronic pain, mobility limitations, fatigue, and mental health challenges. These illnesses profoundly impacted my life, but cannabis became a turning point in my healing journey. Through its use, I found relief, managed most of my symptoms, and reduced my reliance on pain medications. This personal transformation led me to explore the cannabis industry further, initially for my own healing. However, as I shared my products with others, I discovered their potential to help those grappling with similar health issues. What began as a personal quest evolved into a mission to provide relief and hope to others. My education in cannabis medicine is rooted in the work and research of industry pioneers such as Max Montrose (Trichome Institute), Dr. Ethan Russo, Jorge Cervantes, and Raphael Mechoulam, among others. Their knowledge has guided my understanding and approach to developing effective and reliable products. With the encouragement of my wife and others who believed in my vision, we launched Cosmec Healing. As a small, family-owned business, our goal is to educate, empower, and provide products that truly make a difference. Every ingredient we use is of the highest quality, organic whenever possible, and in full compliance with federal hemp laws. Additionally, all our terpenes and cannabinoids undergo rigorous third-party testing to ensure safety and effectiveness. Necessity is the mother of invention…
and Cosmec Healing was born out of one of the hardest chapters of my life.

For years, mainstream medicine failed me.
In some cases, I was treated more like a test subject than a patient.
When you see “discounted procedures” posted in doctors’ offices, it’s usually the red flag you don’t notice until it’s too late.

I followed every direction.
I took my prescriptions exactly as instructed while others tore through theirs in days.

But when I told my pain management doctors I wanted OFF the meds because I wasn’t getting better…
they offered no help at all.
No taper.
No support.
Just: “You shouldn’t do that.”

So I did it myself.

I quit a heavy load of prescribed pain meds cold turkey.
It was dangerous.
It was hell.
And it easily could’ve killed me.

The clinic I trusted was later raided for over-prescribing, and tragically one of the doctors took his own life during the raid.
The others reopened a new practice under a different name.
Meanwhile, I was fighting through months of withdrawals — barely surviving with cannabis, cold showers in the fetal position, and my wife holding me up.

As I healed, I started diving into the actual science — the endocannabinoid system, cannabinoids, terpenes — and why cannabis helped me when nothing else did.

That’s when I began formulating products for myself… slowly, carefully, relentlessly.

It took nearly a decade to create what you now see on shelves.

Cosmec Healing wasn’t born in a lab or a boardroom.
It was born out of survival, study, and the mission to help others find the relief I had to fight for.

This week felt like it was sponsored by Cosmec Healing — and I’m truly grateful it was.
