This morning I got a phone call that genuinely made my day.

A gentleman reached out asking about the Cosmec Healing Recovery Salve after purchasing it from Far & Dotter—only to find they’re now sold out. He told me that over Thanksgiving weekend, he finally convinced his father-in-law, a retired Army Ranger, to try the salve for what they believed was a torn meniscus.

His father-in-law was hesitant… and for good reason. He wasn't really a believer in CBD products in the past and always felt like they were just hype—that they simply didn’t work. His mother-in-law even joked, “Either way, you win… you’ll get relief or the satisfaction of saying you’re right.”

Well… the relief won.

He told me he couldn’t believe how well the salve worked. After months of being sidelined, his father-in-law was finally back outside doing things he hadn’t been able to do for 5–6 months. He repeated to me, “This is a big deal.”

When pain steals your independence, it affects more than just your body. It weighs on your mind, your confidence, and your spirit. Hearing the excitement, gratitude, and even disbelief in his voice meant the world to me.

I’m grateful for that call. I’m grateful that something we’ve poured our heart into is helping people reclaim their life. And I’m grateful for every person who shares their story with us.

🎶 Live Music Heals the Soul — Just Like We Try To 🎶

There’s something powerful about live music… the way it hits you in the chest, clears your mind, and reminds you that you’re still here, still fighting, still growing. Last night I had the chance to see Sevendust acoustic with a great group of friends, and man… it was everything the soul needed. We were able to watch the sound check and do a meet and greet. The band was humble, kind, insanely talented, and even excited to take some Cosmec Healing Recovery GOLD home with them. 🙏💚

Necessity is the mother of invention…
and Cosmec Healing was born out of one of the hardest chapters of my life.

For years, mainstream medicine failed me.
In some cases, I was treated more like a test subject than a patient.
When you see “discounted procedures” posted in doctors’ offices, it’s usually the red flag you don’t notice until it’s too late.

I followed every direction.
I took my prescriptions exactly as instructed while others tore through theirs in days.

But when I told my pain management doctors I wanted OFF the meds because I wasn’t getting better…
they offered no help at all.
No taper.
No support.
Just: “You shouldn’t do that.”

So I did it myself.

I quit a heavy load of prescribed pain meds cold turkey.
It was dangerous.
It was hell.
And it easily could’ve killed me.

The clinic I trusted was later raided for over-prescribing, and tragically one of the doctors took his own life during the raid.
The others reopened a new practice under a different name.
Meanwhile, I was fighting through months of withdrawals — barely surviving with cannabis, cold showers in the fetal position, and my wife holding me up.

As I healed, I started diving into the actual science — the endocannabinoid system, cannabinoids, terpenes — and why cannabis helped me when nothing else did.

That’s when I began formulating products for myself… slowly, carefully, relentlessly.

It took nearly a decade to create what you now see on shelves.

Cosmec Healing wasn’t born in a lab or a boardroom.
It was born out of survival, study, and the mission to help others find the relief I had to fight for.

Our salves aren’t “just topicals.”
They fly off shelves.
People talk about them.
And the feedback I receive every day reminds me that turning pain into purpose was worth every single step.
