✨Hospital IBCLC Support✨

The first hours and days after birth matter so much for your breastfeeding journey. Having access to a hospital IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) can make all the difference.

An IBCLC in the hospital can:
🤱 Help your baby latch effectively
🤱 Support milk supply from the very start
🤱 Provide guidance for positioning & comfort
🤱Answer your questions when everything feels brand new

Starting strong sets the tone for your entire feeding journey. Don’t hesitate to ask for IBCLC support before you leave the hospital—it’s your right and your baby’s best start.

🌿 Placenta Services Supply Restock! 🌿

Placenta bookings have been thriving this year, and I am so grateful for the families who have trusted me with this important part of their postpartum recovery — from local mamas here in town to shipped placentas as far as New Mexico. 💕

Placenta encapsulation is one way families choose to support their healing after birth. Capsules and tinctures may help promote balanced energy, emotional wellness, and a gentler postpartum recovery. Every family’s experience is unique, but many report feeling supported by this natural option.

I’ve just restocked supplies to continue serving families, including:
✨ Regular capsules
✨ Flavored capsules (🍓 Strawberry + 🍊 New Orange)
✨ Tincture bottles

Thank you for letting me walk alongside you in this sacred postpartum season. 💗

✨Today is National VBAC Awareness Day✨

As an Advanced VBAC Doula, Childbirth Educator, and someone who walks this path both personally and professionally — this day holds deep meaning for me.

My current surrogacy journey is actually my VBAC pregnancy, and it represents something incredibly powerful: autonomy, education, healing, and hope after cesarean birth.

Supporting families through birth after cesarean is a vital part of my work. I’ve seen how informed choices and the right support can create truly empowering outcomes — even after a birth experience that may have felt disempowering or out of your hands.

VBAC isn’t just a “type” of birth. It’s a reclaiming. It’s a rebuilding of trust in our bodies, in our care teams, and in ourselves.

Whether you’re considering a VBAC, preparing for one, or simply seeking to learn more — know that you are not alone. The path may look different for each of us, but your voice and your birth matter.

✨ Here’s to all the VBAC warriors, and to every birthing person seeking informed, respectful, and evidence-based care.

Post Pregnancy Confirmation 🤰

Last Wednesday, I made the trip up to Colchester, Vermont to visit Northeastern Reproductive Medicine for an early pregnancy ultrasound. This appointment was to confirm the pregnancy and check on the little life (or lives!) growing inside.

Almost immediately upon starting the scan, we saw two gestational sacs. However, one of them was empty—what’s called a “vanishing twin.” While it’s always a little bittersweet, the good news is that the remaining baby is thriving! Measuring right on track for 7 weeks, with a beautiful, strong heartbeat of 117 bpm. 💓

The intended parents met my husband and me at the clinic, and being able to witness their emotions during this moment was incredibly moving. There’s something so powerful about watching hope turn into reality, and it was an honor to be part of that with them.

After the appointment, we all went out for lunch at a delicious, authentic Mexican restaurant—definitely a moment to remember.

While the journey started with the possibility of twins, I’m genuinely at peace and excited to carry this sweet singleton. I carried my own twin pregnancy well, but I know that a singleton will likely mean less physical strain and a better chance for me to achieve a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean), which I’m truly hoping for.

Thank you all for following along with this journey. Every step is full of emotion, intention, and so much heart—and I’m honored to share it with you. 💫

Honoring World IVF Day with Surrogacy

Two IVF Rounds, One Hope-Filled Journey

Today, on World IVF Day, I’m reflecting on the path that brought me to where I am: being a gestational surrogate—a journey of science, strength, and deep purpose.

Over the past year, I’ve completed two rounds of IVF, not for myself, but to help another family hold the baby they’ve been dreaming of.

The first round was filled with hope but ended in disappointment. And as any IVF warrior knows, that heartbreak is uniquely heavy—full of shots, appointments, hormones, and all the emotional ups and downs that come with placing your body on the line for a chance at life.

Still, I knew this calling ran deeper than one cycle. So we tried again. And this second time… it worked. 🥹💕

✨ As a surrogate, I get to carry a child for someone else—to nurture life and give it back as the most sacred gift. The science behind IVF makes this possible. But it’s the shared humanity, trust, and love between all of us—the intended parents, the doctors, the support people, and surrogates like me—that make it miraculous.

Whether you’re navigating IVF for yourself, dreaming of becoming a parent, supporting someone through their journey, or walking a path like mine, you are not alone. Your story matters.
