You’re now carrying a six with your scales. The confusion being how to spend your energy for the rest of the week given where you currently find yourself. Don’t stress too much about it. Hello and happy Wednesday!

Wednesday is ruled by Mercury, and Mercury is about how we think and communicate. Mercury is fast! The mind moves quick on Wednesdays, at least mine does. And communication does as well. It's a great day to write your social media posts, finish correspondence, and complete those "to do" lists.

Today I thought I'd talk about using scent in your sacred space and around your home in way that doesn't involve smoke. Some folks have issues with smoke - whether that's asthma, or an apartment that doesn't allow burning. But that doesn't mean you can't use plants to clear your space and make it smell sweeter!

Making essential oil sprays is super easy! All you need are:
* An empty spray bottle, glass, preferably amber or blue toprotect the oils
* Clean water (try moon water if you have it!)
* Essential oils

You can add a few crystals to the bottle to give it a boost of crystal energy, but it's important to understand that not all crystals do well in water! I'll do a post about that on Friday.

You add as much oil as you want to a 2 or 4 oz bottle. Drop in a few crystals (if using), then fill it with water. Use clean water. I often use distilled water to ensure there is nothing weird in there.

Then just shake each time before using. You can use your spray to mist sheets and blankets, curtains, or just to clear the air in your house. Test fabrics carefully, because the oils can stain.

This ismy prefered clearing method in my house. I do burn incense in the warmer months when the windows are open, but in winter when things are closed up, I lean to using water mists.

We carry a line of very affordable craft oils in the shop that are perfect for this type of thing. They are far more affordable than the little organic bottles. But the scents are clean and wonderful for use in sprays and incense.

Hello and happy Wednesday!

Today I'm using my first Lenormand deck, the Grand Tableau. It's named after the full reading you do with these cards. This is a traditional 36 card deck. We have it in the shop.

Today we have the Garden #20, the Bouquet #9, and the Storkk # 17. This is a really nice reading!

The Garden is (most often) about a social gathering or party. It can be about a literal Garden, but looking out my window at the snow piles, I'd assume the social situation. It can be meeting new people, any type of gathering.

The Bouquet is a happy and pleasant outcome. A happy turn of events, a positive answer, sometimes a helping hand.

The Stork is a transition with improvement. Maybe a move, a trip by plane, and can even mean an addition to your household.

Together:

Is there some sort of gathering you've been debating going to? Go. There may be new people there, and you may find yourself very happy you attended.

There is a possibility that someone you meet at this gathering will have advice, or help of some kind to offer. The result could improve your situation. Give it a shot!

I know we're all feeling the urge to hibernate in this cold, but maybe go out and see what other intrepid souls have braved the cold!
