Santa(s) and helpers were busy Saturday night!
The Santa Cause is a fun tradition for a group of friends in Keene. Every year they gather on the Saturday before Christmas, visiting establishments on Main Street for fun and holiday cheer - and to support a local nonprofit. This year they selected Rise, and we are so grateful!

All of us at Rise are proud to announce that Alicia Deaver, our executive director, has received her doctorate degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from Mississippi State University. It took a lot of hard work and determination to make this happen - congratulations!

We are thrilled to be partnering with Monadnock United Way and Keene State College on this community-wide imitative to provide education and support for those working in child care around the region.

This funding through the Northern Border Regional Commission, provided over three years, will support professionals around the region. While the funds don't go directly to Rise's programs, we are so grateful to support the community in this way.

The Northern Border Regional Commission announced Monday that it is spending $8 million on 15 projects statewide, including two in Keene aimed at helping the child care industry.
