Hey, welcome to my page. My name is brittany,I'm a mommy to two little girls. I'm so happy to share my services with everyone and to be the best doula I can be. Little background on me, I welcomed my first daughter back in 2016 in what was supposed to be the most exciting time for me but actually was the worst experience ever. It ended in what they said was an emergency c section. Her labor and birth traumatized me. Then I found out baby number 2 was on the way and even then I wasn't very educated on anything and still thought doctors new best. This was also just turned into a very scary pregnancy and it actually didnt need to be. I was told I had iugr( interuterine growth restriction) months or worrying when their in fact was nothing wrong with my baby at all. It was after her birth and basically be forced into a repeat c section that I dug hard into labor and birth and what was okay and what should be concerned not normal or worrisome. I'm so much more confident in myself now then ever before and will never let any doctor or anyone for that matter talk me into anything because I know what is okay and what's not now. If I could go back I would have had a doula both times to support me and help be my advocate. I pray nobody goes through what I went through. That's where he being s doula comes into place to be their for you through it all and support and advocate for you and what you want and to help support you through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
