81st Medical Group Keesler Medical Center - located on Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS.

The 81st Medical Group operates one of the largest Air Force medical facilities in the Air Force. Its primary mission is to maintain medical readiness for worldwide contingencies by providing quality, cost-effective health care for more than 23,000 enrollees, including over 6,000 active-duty members. In addition, the 81st MDG commander oversees the DHA Coastal Mississippi Market which includes 46,000 beneficiaries. Rules of Engagement

Mammography Clinic - Walk-In Mammograms on Fridays in October

For the month of October, the Mammography Clinic will be offering walk-in screening Mammograms on every Friday.

Patients are free to walk-in between 0730-1500 Oct 3, Oct 10, Oct 17, Oct 24 , and Oct 31.

However, there are a few restrictions:
- Patient must be age 40 or older.
- Last mammogram 12 months ago or longer.
- If patients PCM is off base, they must have an order for the screening mammogram. It can be brought in or faxed.
- If the patient is having a breast concern (palpable mass/lump, ni**le discharge, skin changes) they must receive an order for a diagnostic mammogram from their provider and it will be scheduled when a Radiologist can be present.

The 81st Medical Group operates one of the largest Air Force medical facilities in the Air Force. Its primary mission is to maintain medical readiness for worldwide contingencies by providing quality, cost-effective health care for more than 27,000 enrollees, including almost 7,500 active-duty members. In addition, the 81st MDG commander oversees the Gulf Coast Multi-Service Market, which includes five military medical treatment facilities from Mobile, Ala., to New Orleans, coordinating care for 110,000 eligible beneficiaries along the Gulf Coast.
