Happy New Year from Lindsey Simon Counseling! It’s hard to believe that 2025 has already come to an end. What a year it has been. The biggest part of the year for me was passing my certification to become a perinatal mental health therapist. I’m excited to continue to grow in this area of working with moms this year!
I’m thankful to have won best-of counselors in Keller for Living Magazine and become a Mom-Approved therapist for DFW Child. I also got the opportunity to speak on a panel for a group of moms encouraging them in their journey and mental health. I hope to gain more experiences like this in 2026!

Thank you to all of my clients for trusting me as your therapist this year. It is an honor to walk along side of each of you through the ups & downs that life brings.

Thank you for all the referrals and support that has kept LSC growing. I have been stretched this year as a therapist and business owner and I am excited about what 2026 will bring. This year will begin with some time off to have my baby girl and then I will come back stronger and ready to take on the year! I’m excited for what’s to come! I hope everyone has a great year!!

Reflecting on the year and thinking about what I hope to leave in 2025 and be more intentional about bringing in to 2026. I’m sure there are many more things I could add to my list but these are the ones that come to mind right now!

As we approach all of the holiday festivities it’s time to share my yearly holiday boundaries post!

Over the next couple weeks many people will be hosting, traveling and spending a lot of time with family. I encourage you to set boundaries for yourself/family without any guilt! If people push back on your boundaries, oftentimes they are the reason you need them the most.

Here are some practical ways to set and express those needs during the holiday season.

It was a huge honor to be asked by .with.purpose.co to come speak on a panel at their event last week. I was able to spend a few minutes speaking about maternal mental health, coping with anxiety & depression and got vulnerable sharing my own story. I’m so passionate about being a support for other women and moms and loved getting the chance to share.

We had so much fun at our first event with LSC! Thank you to .therapy for having us at your Trunk or Treat! It was so great meeting some families in our community. My girls had the best time and although we were not prepared for the wind 😅 it turned out so well!

Excited to finally share that there is a new LSC baby on the way! Baby girl Simon #3 will be here in January!

Always so grateful to my clients who are so loving and supportive! I will be taking some time off after having baby and then will be back to work 😊 I’m still taking new clients for a bit longer!

🍂 The first day of Fall 🍂

This is my yearly post of my favorite time of the year. I love the cooler weather, the changing leaves (well maybe not so much in Texas), fall drinks, football, pumpkins & a new season.

I know that change is hard. It’s incredibly difficult for me to welcome change. But remember that the only constant is change. It is inevitable so learn to embrace it and see all the beauty that can come 🤎
