RTS Physical Therapy: Celebrating Advanced Training in Dry Needling
We’re proud to recognize Chad Miller, PTA, Amanda Hillard, PTA, Patrick Scheuer, PTA, and Alex Costet, PT, DPT for recently completing DN-1 and DN-2: Dry Needling for Craniofacial, Cervicothoracic, Lumbopelvic, Upper & Lower Extremity Conditions—an intensive, evidence-based program that earned them the Cert DN designation.
This advanced coursework included two rigorous three-day weekends focused on elevating clinical skill and precision. Throughout the program, our clinicians trained in:
• Myofascial trigger point needling (based on Travell & Simons)
• Peri-neural and peri-vascular techniques to enhance microcirculation and reduce chronic tissue irritation
• Targeted needling of tendons, ligaments, musculotendinous junctions, and periosteal structures
Dry needling is a highly technical, research-supported intervention…not just needle placement. It requires anatomical mastery, clinical reasoning, and practiced technique to help reduce pain and restore movement efficiently.
Please join us in congratulating these four for continuing to grow, learn, and bring the highest level of care to our RTS community.
If you’re interested in dry needling and want to schedule with one of our certified providers, we’re here to help!
