As we all know, Gov Abbott has taken away the mask mandate for Texas. Our salon has left it up to you as to whether or not you want to wear your mask here. For me, nothing has changed. I plan on continuing to wear my mask while I’m working on you, sanitizing after each client and continuing the practices that I started last year when the pandemic began. Not only do I have to protect myself and my family, but it’s my responsibility to protect each and every one of you. I’ve also decided that for the near future, if you see me out and about, I will be wearing my mask in public as well.

Like so many people of North Texas, my “home salon” was affected by the snowstorm 2 weeks ago. Although my room wasn’t directly flooded, the entire place had to be shut down and all of us scrambled to find a temporary home.
So many times last week, I would repeat to myself “just roll with the punches”, “it could be worse”, “I’m so grateful” and finally: “I got really lucky”.
So after working in 3 different places, using my car as a hub, our home washing machine going down (do you know how much laundry I go through a day?!) and things really put into perspective, I start back at Volterra tomorrow.
If you have an appointment with me, just know that we are still in the process of getting things back to normal and gorgeous again.

Thank you to those who helped me out last week and allowed me to “borrow” your space! Steffanie Brown, Drs Jud and Pam Kendall with Kendall Acupuncture and Chiropractic and Isabel Schoelles-I couldn’t have done this without you all.
