Life update - What’s going on at Sacred Oasis Massage?!

Hey yall, long time no see 🤍 life has been beautifully busy and I want to give you all an update on what’s going on at Sacred Oasis Massage.

My maternity leave has been much longer than I ever thought it would be. I am beyond blessed that I’ve been able to spend much needed time at home with my little one and let my business pause so I can be fully present at home. Young Alexandria’s dream was always to be a homemaker and mother, and this season of my life has been busy, precious and fulfilling. I am living my dream! I never anticipated having a career that I love and was passionate about that I would want to balance with my dream of motherhood. I will be honest, I don’t know exactly what it looks like to balance SOM with motherhood, but I know I feel called to do both, and want to find a balance between the calling and passion I have for each.

I will be returning to working soon with openings for massages and classes. My availability will flex around our family schedule and lifestyle and may vary a little as we find what works best. I also am thrilled to be teaching infant massages classes in collaboration with for parents and caretakers to learn how to comfortable and confidently massage their little ones. Bodywork was integral to helping Olivia in the early months and I’m so glad for the knowledge base I had to be able to help her. I’m thrilled to share this knowledge with other parents so they can do the same.

For the moment I will only be accepting existing clients and those with gift cards for massage appointments. If you have a gift card and have not had an appointment with me yet please reach out so I can get you set up in the system properly!

I will post my massage availability to stories so keep an eye on those for openings.

2024 was an amazing year, it held so many new things for myself and my family. Some things went according to plan, or how I thought they would, and others didn’t. All in all everything happened as it should and I feel extremely blessed.

I am looking forward to seeing what 2025 has in store, we have 365 new opportunities in front of us. It’s a good year to have a good year, my friends! Happy new year!

🤍 new location 🤍 it’s been a busy week transitioning from the old studio to the new studio. Lots of emotions have flowed through me as I leave the place that my business began. Starting a business in a pandemic was h a r d yall! Locking the door for the last time was emotional, but in a different way than I expected. I am sad to see one door close that has held so may firsts for me, yet excited to open another door with my friend and see what we can accomplish together.

We are now located at : 891 Keller Parkway 🤍 Alejandra and I hope you love our new space as much as we do. The ambiance of calm, peace, and hope it holds it something we strive for and can’t wait to welcome you into.

New things are coming with my return from maternity leave and one of those is the location of !

💗 I have LOVED my time at Sola Salons in Alliance, it has been a truly beautiful place to launch and grow my business. I am forever thankful for the friendships I have built with my neighbors there and the launching pad it was for my business in the midst of a pandemic. As my business needs change as I balance motherhood and entrepreneurship I needed to change the home of Sacred Oasis Massage to open up more opportunities. I am thrilled to be continuing to share a space with my good friend and colleague Alejandra with .massage . We can’t wait to get the new space finished and introduce it to you all!

Hello everyone, long time no see 🤍 My maternity leave has been absolutely amazing, I am so beyond thankful for the ability to be home with my family for the time that we have needed. It has been so surreal to have time to enjoy together in these precious early days that fly by so fast. I can’t believe that it’s been 6 months since my leave started. I was blessed to be able to finish out our pregnancy healthy thanks to my healthcare team and caring husband. We had a long hard labor with Olivia and it’s taken me a while to make progress in healing my body that allows me to get back to work. My healing journey is still ongoing but I will be ready to see you all again soon. I have some exciting news to share over the next few weeks so stay tuned, I haven’t forgotten about yall!! I hope you’ve all had a wonderful summer and are enjoying the cooler weather we are getting. Maternity Leave update 🌸
My healthcare team and I have carefully examined my pregnancy symptoms and feel that it is best for me to start my leave earlier than anticipated. While this is not what I had planned it is the best option for me and little girl as we journey through the last trimester 💝

Between now and when my leave starts I will only be accepting appointments for existing clients and clients with gift cards they need to redeem.

As of now my maternity leave will start on 3/4/24.
If you have any questions feel free to reach out via comments or messages 🤍 The support each of you continually show my business means the world to me, thank you for your kindness and understanding as I start my leave early. I will truly miss seeing many of you one more time before my leave starts.

I will send an email within a few days to all clients with referrals for massage therapists I recommend seeing to keep up with your health and wellness goals while I am on leave.

If you have a gift card, think you may have a balance on an old gift card, or gave one to friends or family this year (or last year lol) please pass on this information!

I am asking all of my clients with gift cards to redeem them before I start my maternity leave. My maternity leave is tentatively set for March 31st unless my healthcare team and I decide otherwise is needed for me or little girl to be at our healthiest.
