LMBS is looking to hire a part time (10-15 hours per week) medical billing support specialist. This position will be 100% remote, and pay will be based on experience. If interested in hearing more details, please submit your resume to alyssa@lambertmbs.com.

Be aware there are required information that needs to be provided to clients starting January 1, 2022, if you're not already doing so.

Beginning January 1, 2022, psychologists and other health care providers will be required by law to give uninsured and self-pay patients a good faith estimate of costs for services that they offer.

CMS instructed Medicare administrative contractors to hold all claims on or after April 1, when the pause on cuts is scheduled to end. The House is expected to take up the Senate-passed bill when it returns the week of April 13.

Today we honor the life and sacrifice of Newton Police Department Lieutenant Pat Richardson. On September 1, 2013 Lieutenant Richardson died of a heart attack while off duty and training for an upcoming departmental physical fitness test. Pat had 23 years of service with the Newton Police Department and served in the US Army. Pat was loved by his community, fellow officers and family and his presence is missed daily.
