Debbie, a longtime employee at Mountain Valley of Cascadia who is deeply loved by both staff and residents, has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Her family is holding a spaghetti feed fundraiser to help support her during this incredibly difficult time. ❤️

All proceeds will go toward end-of-life expenses. Please consider attending, sharing, or donating if you’re able. Your support means more than words can express and is a true reflection of the love and care Debbie has given to so many over the years.

Meet Cindy! Cindy is an evening shift cook, and has been with Mountain Valley for 2 and a half years, and is SO loved by staff and residents alike!

Favorite thing about Mountain Valley: "Ohhh the people! I love the staff and residents here!"

Where is the most interesting place you have ever visited? "The ocean!"

What is your biggest goal for this year? "To work hard and be a good grandma! Maybe become a billionaire..."

I can tell you already that Cindy has met 2/3 of her goals for 2026 😉

We are proud to recognize sisters Heidi and Deanna as Mountain Valley of Cascadia’s Volunteers of the Year!🎉

While their dad, John, calls our community home, their kindness and dedication extend far beyond their family. They consistently show up with open hearts, lending a helping hand, offering support, and bringing joy to all of our residents.

✨ Holiday joy at Mountain Valley of Cascadia ✨

Despite winter storms and power outages delaying our plans, today we proudly hosted our annual Resident Christmas Luncheon - and it was well worth the wait. All enjoyed a festive meal with champagne or sparkling cider, shrimp cocktail and stuffed mushrooms, prime rib, delicious sides, and decadent desserts, served with care by our great team. ❤️🥂🎄

Moments like these remind us that it’s all about community, dignity, and celebrating those we serve. ❤️ So thankful to those who worked tirelessly to restore power! We appreciate you more than you know!
