In the United States, over 14 million adults aged 65 and older, or approximately one in four, report experiencing falls annually. While not all falls result in injury, roughly 37% of those who fall report injuries requiring medical treatment or restricting activity for at least one day, resulting in an estimated nine million fall injuries annually. At Lakeside Health and Wellness, balance activities are integrated into our daily therapy program. Our creative therapists ensure residents engage in enjoyable activities while participating in therapy.
