Rhi is the thoughtful strategist, the critical thinker, and the steady voice that helps turn big ideas into real plans. She brings the feminine balance our office needs and somehow manages to keep Jared’s wild ideas pointed in the right direction.

Her leadership, insight, and calm perspective make a huge difference behind the scenes every single day, and Odyssey simply wouldn’t be the same without her.

Maternal alloimmunization happens when a mother develops antibodies against her baby’s red blood cells. These antibodies can cross the placenta and lead to hemolytic disease of the fetus and newborn, or HDFN, a condition that can cause severe fetal anemia and require expert care before and after birth.

With early diagnosis, monitoring, and the right care, most babies affected by HDFN have a great outcome.

March 12 is World Alloimmunization & HDFN Day. Today we are raising awareness, honoring the families who have faced this diagnosis and advocating for better care and research.

Senior House of Delegates Representative, Alaska Academy of Physician Assistants

Jared Wallace, PA-C graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2009 and moved to Alaska shortly after. He began his career at Family Medical Clinic in Soldotna, and after over three years, he joined MediCenter in Kenai, where he worked for more than six years. In 2019, Jared and his wife opened Odyssey Family Practice in Soldotna, one of the few PA-owned practices in the area.

Passionate about PA autonomy, Jared is committed to supporting legislation that strengthens the PA profession in Alaska. Having firsthand experience in managing a medical practice, he brings a unique perspective to the board and is eager to improve opportunities for PAs throughout the state.
