If your body feels stuck, read this.

You know that spot that never quite lets go? The one you keep stretching, but it comes right back.

This class is for that.

Our Deep Tissue Release Body Rolling class is a slower, more focused way to work into those areas that feel tight or stuck. We use simple tools like balls, rollers, sandbags, and a little bit of body weight to press into the muscle and give it space to soften.

Sometimes you move.
Sometimes you stay still and let the pressure do the work.

It’s not about pushing harder. It’s about paying close attention to your body.

You’ll learn how to work into both the big muscle groups and the smaller, harder-to-reach spots. The kind that show up after long walks, strength training workouts, travel days, or just sitting more than you meant to.

And once you know how to do it, you can take it with you.

Most people walk out feeling a little lighter. A little looser. Like their body has more room again.

Join us on Friday, May 1st at 7 pm.

If your body’s been asking for something different, this might be it.

Christa here! When I envision Greece, I see jaw-dropping ancient ruins, clear blue waters, and a kaleidoscope of wonder in the myths and legends, culture, food, and its delightful people.

When my dear friend and mentor, Triccia Ramos, asked me to be the resident yoga instructor for this retreat, my brain glitched for a moment.

This Greece Retreat in June 2026 is an experience on sailboats. For me, that feels meaningful because boats represent passage and exploration into the unknown. It symbolizes a journey across the sea of life, moving through calm waters and the occasional storm.

As retreats go, being surrounded by water, sky, beautiful terrain, and nature for several days has a way of bringing us back to what truly matters. Can we literally go with the flow? I can’t imagine a better place to practice than the Aegean Sea.

From June 20–27, we’ll island-hop as a flotilla, a small collection of sailboats traveling together, visiting 3–4 islands tucked away from the tourist crowds. The exact islands will be chosen once we arrive, based on weather patterns. Possibilities include Aegina, Poros, Hydra, Epidaurus, Astros, Kythnos, Sifnos, and Serifos.

Along the way, there will be private chefs and hosts on each boat, and excursions such as hiking, paddle boarding, and snorkeling, dinners at handpicked authentic Greek restaurants on each island, yoga in a different location every day with me, and powerful playshops with Triccia to support a meaningful inward journey.

If you’re curious and want to understand how the retreat works, what sailing life is like, the accommodations, and what a typical day might look like, watch the recording of our information session. It answers many questions and gives you a much clearer sense of the experience. DM us to watch!

If something in you lights up when you read about this journey, I encourage you to explore the info session recording and see if this adventure might be calling your name.

A Class for Kevin

Sometimes there’s a simple way to show up for someone, and this is one of those times.

On Sunday, April 19 at 12 pm, we’re hosting a donation-based Flowvana & Stretch class to support Kevin McConway, the son of Lori, a dedicated Fearvana student who many of you may know from class.

Kevin was born with Lowe Syndrome, a rare genetic condition that affects the eyes, brain, and kidneys. When he was born, his family was told he might not live past 10 to 15 years old. This June, he turns 32!

He is a very loveable, happy, and energetic young man who enjoys singing, dancing, horseback riding, and swimming at the YMCA. A big part of his life is supported by Alternatives Inc., the nonprofit this class is raising money for.

Alternatives Inc. provides housing and daily support for individuals with special needs, along with things that make life feel more full and connected. That includes maintaining group homes, organizing outings and social events, celebrating birthdays and holidays, and covering everyday essentials like toiletries, furniture, and household items.

You can sign up on Mindbody and bring a cash donation of any amount to class, or the rate of a drop-in class.

If you’re able to join us, we’d love to have you there.

Two New Teachers You Should Meet

We’re really happy to share something new with you.

We’ve been growing our teaching team, and Jennifer and Syreeta have recently stepped into the space as new instructors. Both of them bring their own presence, perspective, and care to the room, and we’re excited for you to get to know them.

To help introduce them to our Fearvana community, they’ll be leading donation-based Flowvana (All Levels) classes over the next few weeks. These classes are open to everyone and are meant to feel welcoming, accessible, and easy to step into, whether you’re newer to yoga or have been practicing for years.

Jennifer will be teaching Wednesdays at 5 pm on April 15, 22, and 29, and Syreeta will be teaching Saturday, April 25 at 8 am.

Pre-registration on Mindbody is required. Suggested donation is $25, and all proceeds will go to the Fearvana Foundation.

It’s a simple way to support new teachers, give back, and show up for your practice without overthinking it.

We hope you’ll join us, meet Jennifer and Syreeta, and be part of welcoming them into the Fearvana community.

This class means a lot to someone in our community

Join us for a donation-based Flowvana & Stretch class on Sunday, April 19 at 12 pm.
This class is being held to support Kevin McConway, the son of Lori McConway, a dedicated Fearvana student and longtime member of our community.

Kevin was born with Lowe Syndrome, a rare genetic condition that affects the eyes, brain, and kidneys. When he was born in 1994, doctors believed he might not live past 10 to 15 years old. This June, Kevin will celebrate his 32nd birthday.

All proceeds from the class will go to Alternatives Inc., a nonprofit organization that supports individuals and families with special needs. The organization provides housing, programs, and everyday support that help people like Kevin live full and connected lives in their communities.

Donations help fund things like maintaining group homes, celebrating birthdays and holidays together, organizing outings and field trips, and providing everyday essentials for residents.

You are welcome to donate any amount, or the rate of a drop-in class. If you would like to join us, pre-registration is required.

Thank you for helping us support Kevin and the important work of Alternatives Inc.

Your Monthly Specialty Classes: Strength, Release & Challenge

Looking to add something a little different to your practice each month? Our monthly specialty classes are designed to help you release tension, build strength in new ways, and challenge your edges—while giving you something consistent to look forward to.

Here’s what’s on the schedule:

➡️Deep Tissue Release Body Rolling

1st Friday of every month at 7 pm | Apr 10 & May 1

This class is all about digging deep to release muscle tension, knots, and tightness using foam rollers, acupressure balls, soft golf balls, and sandbags. You’ll learn how to target both major and minor muscle groups through a mix of stillness and gentle movement to free up fascia and improve mobility. These techniques are easy to practice at home, work, or while traveling—or join us monthly to keep your body feeling loose and resilient.

➡️Yoga Body Balls

2nd Saturday of the month at 8 am | Apr 11 & May 9

Yoga Body Balls brings a fun, functional twist to your practice using a 26–27" yoga ball. The instability of the ball challenges your body to build strength, balance, and coordination in new ways. This moderately intense, one-hour class emphasizes precision and quality of movement, with focused work for the arms, shoulders, back, and core, followed by a relaxing cooldown to support flexibility—especially in the back and shoulders.

➡️Wolf Flow

3rd Sunday of the month at 8 am | Apr 19 & May 17

This is our most intense specialty class, designed for those ready to challenge their mind and body. We begin with a strong Sun Salutation warm-up to build power, move into deep stretching to support flexibility, and then workshop 3–4 advanced apex poses step-by-step. You’ll be invited to explore your edges, build confidence, and surprise yourself with what’s possible. The practice ends with a seated savasana, leaving you feeling grounded, strong, and empowered.

Each class offers something unique, but all are rooted in intentional movement, education, and self-discovery. Pre-registration is required—save the dates and join us each month to move, learn, and grow.

Each year, our community gathers for a class that means a lot to us.

On Sunday, April 19 at 12 pm, we’ll once again host our donation-based Flowvana & Stretch class in support of Kevin McConway and Alternatives Inc. Kevin is the son of Fearvana student Lori McConway, and over the years, many of you have joined us to help support him and the community that cares for him.

Kevin was born with Lowe Syndrome, a rare genetic condition that affects the eyes, brain, and kidneys. When he was born in 1994, doctors believed he might not live past 10 to 15 years old. This June, Kevin will celebrate his 32nd birthday!

It’s something worth celebrating, and it’s one of the reasons this class has become such a meaningful tradition for us.

All donations from this class go to Alternatives Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides housing, programs, and everyday support for individuals with special needs so they can live full, connected lives in their communities.

If you’d like to take part, simply sign up for the class on Mindbody and bring a cash donation of any amount (or the rate of a drop-in class) on the day of the event.

We’re grateful every year for the way this community shows up for Kevin and his family.
It’s a small class that carries a lot of heart, and we hope you’ll join us.

You’re NOT lazy — it’s just winter…

Winter isn’t meant for pushing hard.

It’s a season of slowing down, staying warm, getting cozy, and yes… moving a little less. Short days and cold weather naturally pull us inward—and most of us feel it.

So if your January goals didn’t stick… You didn’t fail. You were just hibernating.

But now… things are shifting.

Spring is here!

The days are getting longer. The air is changing. And your body is starting to crave movement again.

That’s why March is actually the perfect time to begin.

To help you ease back into your practice, we’re offering our Spring Into Yoga Sale all month long:

Get a 10-Class Pass for $250. That’s $30 in savings—just $25 per class (regularly $35).

Available March 1 - 31. Your 10-Class Pass is valid for one year. So you have plenty of time to start taking classes.

No pressure. No overwhelm. Just a simple, supportive way to start moving again—at your own pace.

Let this be your season to wake up your body, reconnect with yourself, and build a rhythm that feels good.

Reserve your pass here: https://clients.mindbodyonline.com/classic/ws?studioid=177187&stype=43&prodid=10371
