Ty Weis, MD, is board-certified in anesthesiology, providing safe and effective anesthesia care to patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures. A native of Sioux City, IA, Dr. Weis received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis School of Medicine. From there, he completed an anesthesiology residency at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, PA, and a cardiac anesthesia fellowship at Western Pennsylvania Allegheny Health System, PA. An established provider with over two decades of experience, Dr. Weis previously served as a cardiothoracic anesthesiologist and as vice-chairman of the anesthesia department at Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville, PA, before joining Trinity Health. He enjoys woodworking, photography, cooking and biking in his free time.

A member of our emergency/trauma medicine team, Maura Holm, DO, provides care to patients with a variety of emergent illnesses or injuries. A Minot native, Dr. Holm earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, before obtaining her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine, Meridian. She then completed an emergency medicine residency at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, where she also gained experience as a flight physician, medical control physician and served as a clinical instructor of emergency medicine at Western Michigan University School of Medicine. A member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the Emergency Medicine Residents Association, Dr. Holm looks forward to serving the community in which she was raised. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, going to the lake and traveling.

The Trinity Health EMT Program: Your Path to a Rewarding Career in Emergency Medical Services!

The Trinity Health EMT Program offers a comprehensive and intensive training experience, running from January 5, 2026, to June 4, 2026. Held Monday and Thursday evenings from 5 to 9 p.m., this program combines classroom learning with hands-on clinical experience. Students will explore emergency medical topics and skills, culminating in eligibility for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification exam.

Applications must be received by Monday, October 20, 2025, by 3 p.m. Each application will be reviewed by the EMT Program Coordinator, who will contact applicants to schedule an interview. During the interview, we will assess motivation, professionalism, communication skills, and overall readiness for the program.

The program will officially begin on January 5, 2026, and end on June 4, 2026, with classes held Monday and Thursday evenings from 5- 9 p.m.

Program Fee
The $1,500 fee covers all materials, with a non-refundable $500 deposit.

👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️ Yesterday, in partnership with Minot State University, 23 nursing students officially began their journey into the profession during the symbolic white coat ceremony.

🩺 Trinity Health’s VP/Chief Nursing Officer, Ben Anderson, had the honor of speaking at the event and welcomed these students as they took their first step toward becoming nurses.
