Kennebunk Physical Therapy

Kennebunk Physical Therapy Move Freely, Live Fully Most people don’t think twice about movement—until it’s taken from them. Because movement is more than just function—it’s freedom.

An injury, chronic pain, or a lingering limitation can make even the simplest activities feel out of reach. And when you’ve been told to “just live with it,” or you feel like just another name on a chart, it’s easy to wonder: Will I ever get back to the life I love? At Kennebunk Physical Therapy, we believe the answer is always yes. The freedom to chase your kids, return to your sport, explore the outdoors, or simply wake up pain-free. And when your body moves without limits, your possibilities are limitless, too. That’s why we do things differently. Here, your care is personal. No rushed appointments. No cookie-cutter treatments. From day one, we listen—to your story, your goals, and what’s standing in your way. Whether you want to run again, move without hesitation, or reclaim the everyday motions that bring you joy, we create a plan that works for you. And we don’t just guide your recovery—we walk with you every step of the way. We celebrate your milestones, adjust as needed, and make sure you leave each session not just stronger, but more confident in your body’s ability to move, heal, and thrive. Because at KPT, physical therapy isn’t just about recovery. It’s about reclaiming possibility. It’s about moving forward—stronger, freer, and with no limits holding you back. Let’s get you moving. Let’s get you living.

Man… 12 already. That hits.

Happy Birthday to my guy, Griffin 🎉
Watching you grow into the person you’re becoming has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I’m so proud of the way you show up every day — your effort, your heart, your curiosity, and the way you care about the people around you.

It’s wild to think we’re starting to watch you make that transition from boy to young man… and I couldn’t be more excited to see where that journey takes you. Just know we’re always in your corner.

Keep being you. That’s more than enough.

Love you, buddy ❤️

Kennebunk Physical Therapy is teaming up with Destination Fitness for an interactive workshop: Lift Better: The Hip Hinge, Deadlift, and Squat Workshop.

In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to properly hip hinge, deadlift, and squat with coaching from both a physical therapist and experienced strength coaches. We’ll break down the mechanics, help you dial in your form, and show you how proper lifting builds strength while protecting your body for the long run.

This isn’t just about lifting heavier.
It’s about moving better, building resilience, and supporting long-term health and longevity.

Expect coaching, movement breakdowns, and plenty of time to practice so you leave feeling confident under the bar.

Spots will be limited. Stay tuned for details.

ity and flexibility are often used interchangeably, but they’re not the same thing.

Flexibility is your muscle’s ability to stretch.
Mobility is your ability to move a joint through its full range of motion with strength and control.

You can actually be very flexible but still lack mobility. When that happens, movements like squatting, reaching overhead, running, or lifting can start to feel stiff, unstable, or limited.

The good news is that mobility can improve with the right approach.

If your body feels tight, stiff, or like it just isn’t moving the way it used to, it may be time to take a closer look.

Reach out anytime if you want help getting back to moving freely and living fully.

Big moment for Kennebunk Physical Therapy.

I recently had the opportunity to sit down with CBS 13 for their Inside Maine’s Best: Health & Wellness segment to talk about what we’re building here at KPT and why our approach to physical therapy is a little different.

At Kennebunk Physical Therapy, care is never rushed. Every session is one-on-one, focused, and built around helping people move better, feel stronger, and get back to the activities they love most.

It was an honor to represent our community and share the philosophy behind Move Freely. Live Fully.

Grateful for the chance to highlight the work we’re doing right here in Kennebunk.

If you’re dealing with pain, recovering from an injury, or just want to move and perform at a higher level, I’d love to help.

Spring is coming. And with it… more miles.

Before your weekly runs jump from 0 to 15, take a minute and ask:

Is your body actually ready?

Most running injuries don’t come out of nowhere. They show up when training load increases faster than your body’s capacity to handle it.

At Kennebunk Physical Therapy, our Running Assessment looks at:

• Strength
• Single-leg control
• Mobility where it matters
• Tendon tolerance
• Running mechanics

This isn’t about overanalyzing your stride.

It’s about building durability so you can train consistently, race confidently, and avoid the frustrating “why does this keep coming back?” cycle.

If you’re gearing up for spring miles — whether it’s your first 5K or your tenth half marathon — this is the right time to check in.

Train smarter.
Run stronger.
Move Freely. Live Fully.

DM “RUN” or reach out to book your assessment.

February break = core memories. ❄️🎣⚾️

Today I’m out of the office soaking up time with my boys and their best friends—ice fishing and playing wiffle ball on Kennebunk Pond.

I’m still reachable by phone and email if you need me, and I’ll be back in the clinic on Monday, ready to go.

Thanks for the support—family and health always come first. 💙

Full-circle hockey moment 🏒✨

At the opening ceremonies, Griffin tracked down the exact spot where Mike Eruzione scored the game-winning goal against the Soviet Union during the 1980 Olympics—right there at the Lake Placid Olympic Center.

History, chills, and a proud hockey dad moment all rolled into one. Some places just carry energy—and you can feel it when you stand on the ice. 🇺🇸🔥

Out of the office for the rest of the week 🏒❄️

I’m in Lake Placid for a hockey tournament—one of those places that just hits different if you grew up loving the game.

I’ll be checking email and staying as accessible as I can, but I’ll also be prioritizing family time and being fully present for a few special days.

Thanks for the understanding—and I’ll be back soon.
Let’s go hockey families. 💙🏒

Healing doesn’t happen in chaos.

Your body doesn’t do its best work when it feels rushed, distracted, or on edge. It heals when it feels safe, supported, and heard. A calm environment matters. Slower pace matters. One on one care matters.

At Kennebunk Physical Therapy, we intentionally create space for your nervous system to settle so your body can actually adapt, rebuild, and get stronger. Less noise. More presence. Real progress.

If you are tired of feeling rushed through appointments and ready for care that meets you where you are, we would love to help.
