Most people think orthodontics only affect the teeth.

But when I started Invisalign, I noticed something interesting…

Normally my neck adjustments hold really well, but during the first several weeks of Invisalign I found myself needing to get checked more often.

Why?

Because when your bite changes, your body has to adapt.

Your jaw (TMJ) and upper neck are closely connected neurologically. So when orthodontic work starts shifting the position of the bite, the body has to reorganize how the head balances on the spine.

Which was such a good reminder for me.

Kids going through braces, palate expanders, or Invisalign are experiencing constant structural change. Their bite can literally be changing every few weeks as orthodontic treatment progresses.

But most of the time, no one is checking how the spine and nervous system are adapting to those changes.

That’s why kids and adults going through orthodontic work often benefit from regular chiropractic care during treatment.

Not because something is “wrong”…
but because the body is actively adapting.

Supporting the spine and nervous system during that time just makes sense.

✨ If you or your child are currently in orthodontic treatment, it’s a great time to make sure their nervous system is being checked regularly.

And I’m curious, did you notice more jaw or neck tension when you (or your kids) had braces or Invisalign?

Turns out… women gathering to talk about books usually ends up being about a lot more than books. 📚🥂

And last night proved it.

Our Books & Bubbles crew gathered to chat about The Book Club for Troublesome Women — a story about four women of different ages, backgrounds, and ambitions who build an unbreakable bond through friendship and books. Honestly… it felt a little familiar.

Our Books & Bubbles group keeps growing, the conversations keep getting deeper, and the laughter somehow gets louder every month. We talk about the book of course… but also the really important things in life — like where to go for the best anniversary dinner. 😉

Next up we’ve got two books on the docket:
📖 Theo of Golden by Allen Levi
📖 Bonus read: The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V. E. Schwab
✨ Next Books & Bubbles is Wednesday May 13th.. Your future book club besties are waiting. 💛📚🥂

What’s the last book you couldn’t put down? 👇

Baby #6. Age 40. And her easiest pregnancy yet. 🤯

Yes… you read that right.

This amazing mama shared that this has been her healthiest, smoothest pregnancy, and she credits consistent chiropractic care and weekly adjustments.

And honestly? We see stories like this more often than you might think. When the nervous system is supported and the body is moving and functioning the way it’s designed to, pregnancy can feel very different.

We love seeing moms smiling and sailing right up to their due dates feeling strong, comfortable, and confident. 💜

One of the most common questions we hear is:
“When should I start prenatal chiropractic care?”

✨ The best time: before conception.
Each adjustment builds on the last, helping your body adapt and function at its best as pregnancy progresses.

✨ The next best time: today.
Whether you're trying to conceive, newly pregnant, or counting down the weeks, it’s never too late to support your body during this incredible season.

Healing isn’t linear… and that’s where most people give up.

You start doing the “right things”—
eating better, thinking differently, getting adjusted…

…and then one hard day makes you question everything.

But here’s the truth:
healing was never meant to be a straight line.

It’s messy. It’s up and down.
And it’s happening even when it doesn’t feel like it.

Every choice you make—
to move your body, drink the water, get outside, show up for your care—
is moving you further from dis-ease and closer to real vitality.

Don’t quit in the dip. That’s where the shift is happening.

If you’re ready to stay consistent (and have support along the way), we’re here for you 💜

What if feeling better wasn’t random… but expected?

These are real things we heard in our office just this week 👇
✨ “My mood is so much better”
✨ “My kids haven’t had any sick visits this whole winter”
✨ “My periods & PMS are greatly improved”
✨ “Everyone in our house is getting better sleep”
✨ “This has been my best pregnancy yet—no pelvic pain whatsoever”
✨ “I’m getting out for a walk every day & feeling great”

This is what happens when your body starts working with you instead of against you.

Ready to feel the difference for yourself? Message to schedule a consult.
