Mobile Outpatient OT & PT that comes to you! We provide Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy to Seniors Wherever they Call Home.

Our services are covered by Medicare and many other insurances! Physical Therapy: build your strength, endurance, balance, and physical skills so you can walk and complete all the tasks you want to do in your home and community. Occupational Therapy: focus on your daily functional tasks such as bathing, dressing, cleaning, cooking and more so you can maintain your independence in and out of your home. Speech Therapy: make sure you can express yourself through language and understand communication, especially if cognition is a challenge. Also ensure your swallowing is working well, with no coughing or choking. Our therapists come to your home to complete the evaluation, openly discuss the findings with you and your family and create a treatment plan that works best for you. Then, you can work with your therapist one-on-one to achieve your goals!

Mobile Therapy Solutions has an open position for a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant. You will work as a Mobile-Outpatient Therapist, visiting patients in their private homes and/or in assisted living communities around East Cobb and N Fulton County.

What is Mobile Outpatient Therapy? It's the best of home health and out-patient clinic therapy. We have leisurely, one on one sessions in the most functional environment (the patients' homes) BUT we have very easy documentation and much less restrictive rules. We pay by the unit which means there are no high pressure productivity expectations!

The best COTA for our team will: prefer working with the geriatric population, enjoy working autonomously, be self-motivated, a team player, and an excellent communicator. We prefer you to have some geriatrics experience.

Built-in shower benches like the one pictures here can be great for some people. For MOST of my older patients, I would rather see a 3-in-1 commode used, like the set up in picture 2. 👍

Are you (or your loved one) in the hospital because of an unexpected injury such as a broken hip, a twisted ankle, or you hit your head when you fell? Or perhaps you had a stroke or an illness.

What type of therapy do you think you could receive at the hospital? 🤔

You actually can get all the of the major rehab services: Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech Therapy. Medicare does pay for these services!☺️

Your therapists will evaluate your different abilities and make recommendations for what level of care you should process to.

For example, the PT will assess your balance, strength and your ability to walk. Your OT will determine if you're able to take care of basic skills such as bathing and dressing. The Speech Therapist will check your cognition and ability to swallow, if indicated.

Having therapists on your team is vital to your successful recovery! Be sure to ask your doctor to order therapy when you're in the hospital so you can get their recommendations.

This amazing device helps people with partial or no sight. You can use it to create labels for items in combination with a recording that you create. Then, later on you can scan the item and the device will read off the description you recorded. Cool!

This machine is a "Hoyer Lift." It's used to transfer people from place to place when they're unable to move for themselves. Then they can move from bed to wheelchair to get around the house.
