That’s a wrap for March here at Gaines Park!

We had a fun filled month, we had a cute Photo Booth during our St Patrick’s Day lunch thanks to Evan with Ennoble Hospice! We had plenty of craft days with cute shamrock mason jars and some decoupage flower vases made by Bonnie! Later in the month we had the Sweet Spirit Singers come by and sing for us, as well as the talented Bill Gleeson! Last but not least, we ended the month with a fun family bingo with prizes sponsored by Stephen with Dynamic Hospice!

We had an AMAZING Thanksgiving ✨🦃

Thank you to everyone who came last week for our 2025 Gaines Park Family Thanksgiving Dinner! And a huge thank you to everyone that made the dinner possible - the decorations, the food, all the desserts that family brought in, pumpkin pies from Trinity Hospice, and our wonderful raffle basket from Dynamic Hospice!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year!

Gaines Park Fall Festival 🍁🍂🚗🚙

Thank you to all that came out for our 2025 GP Fall Festival! We had members from the Romeo Car Club of Marietta bring some awesome vintage cars! ✨ The food was delicious and the cotton candy was so sweet!!! 🍬 We had an awesome blue grass band - The Mars Hill Porch Pickers - that livened up the whole festival! 🎶🪕

When we aren’t going out and having fun, we are enjoying great music from Jim Brown and the Sweet Spirit Singers!🎶 They sang and paid tribute to all the fallen on 9/11, and later on the residents made red, white and blue memorial candle holders- and they were all beautiful!

A big thank you to Wendy from Trinity Hospice for helping with our Sundae on a Friday event! The residents absolutely loved all the ice cream and yummy toppings!

And last but not least, we created super cute owls and turkeys from little pine cones!!!! ✨

We had a fun filled week- traveling to the Southern Museum of Civil War & Locomotive History and after we went to Mellow Mushroom 🍕

Gaines Park at Georgia Aquarium!! 🐟🦈🐋

We o(fish)ially made it to the Georgia Aquarium and had an absolute blast of a time! We saw so many sharks, whales( beluga & whale shark), dolphins, stingrays and more!! We also had lunch at the aquarium at the Coastline Café!

We had a great Fourth of July last week and the smiles on the resident’s faces prove it! Thank you to Jeni Michelson for our entertainment, Gaines Park Staff for helping with our fireworks show, & lastly, a tremendous thank you to our soldiers (at home and overseas) for their bravery, commitment, service, and for defending our freedom and flag- the red, white, and blue 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
