Single Leg Bridges are great for building core strength! Single leg bridges increase hip joint stability, engages the hamstrings, and activates the glutes!
What does that mean? That means that the single leg bridge strengthens the muscles needed for running, jumping, and squatting.

When straightening one knee, the pelvis and trunk should not rotate, drop on one side, shake, the hamstring or low back cramps, or lose full hip extension. If it does, your glutes are inhibited and do not have adequate strength to maintain a stable pelvis during functional movement, especially single-leg stance movements.
