How come we sleep so amazingly good after a massage?
Massage therapy does not just increase blood circulation in the body, but also effects our hormones. Especially the hormone cortisol, which is our “fight and flight” respond hormone. If we experience a lot of stress, cortisol levels rise up.
Getting massage therapy helps decreasing the elevated cortisol and makes us feeling more relaxed, sleepy and balanced again. Look at “RANGER” our office puppy, it worked for him!!!
