Scheidler Family Clinic is closed today, January 19, for Martin Luther King Day. We will reopen tomorrow at 8:00 am.

The Clinic will be closed December 24th through the 26th for Christmas. We will be answering phone calls until noon on the 24th. The clinic will open December 29th at 8 a.m. Merry Christmas to all!!!!

Scheidler Family Clinic is sad to announce that the clinic will no longer be able accept Military Insurance. Because of the changes made at the first of the year to the coverage areas, which we have no control over, it has caused a lot of issues for patients and veteran providers. Because of these changes we are unable to obtain the coverage and prior authorizations needed for our patients to receive the care they deserve. Again we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this will cause our veterans and active military members. Scheidler Family Clinic truly loves and supports our veterans and troops and the sacrifices they have made for us and our country.

About Scheidler Family Clinic

Scheidler Family Clinic is a family-owned rural health clinic located in Kennett, Missouri. Since January 2007, Dr. Scheidler and his wife Heidi, a certified Physician Assistant, have been providing medical services to the bootheel area.

Currently accepting new patients of all ages.

About Dr. Stefan Scheidler

Dr. Stefan Scheidler was born and raised in Pentling, German; a small town in Bavaria about one hour north of Munich. He attended medical school at the University of Regensburg in Regensburg, Germany and did a year of research, completing his doctoral dissertation and graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2001. He then moved to Saint Louis to study and complete the US medical board exams, where he met and married Heidi. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital affiliated with Baylor College of Medicine in Baytown, Texas in 2006. He and Heidi then moved to Kennett, Missouri where they opened Scheidler Family Clinic in January 2007. Dr. Scheidler speaks fluent English.

About Heidi Scheidler, PA-C

Heidi Scheidler grew up in the Southwest Missouri town of Cassville. She attended Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology in 2001. She then moved to Saint Louis to attend the Physician Assistant program at Saint Louis University where she graduated with her Master’s Degree in 2003. While in Saint Louis, she met and married Stefan. She then moved with him to Texas and worked as a PA at First Family Medicine Association in Baytown, Texas. In 2006 Stefan completed his residency and the two moved to Kennett, Missouri where they opened Scheidler Family Clinic in January 2007.
