We love ❤️ having another reason to share time together and eat cake 🎂

Our Creekstone resident, John, celebrated 🎉 his 🎈 85th birthday today 🎉 in Western Style! 🤠

John was born in Gary Indiana and has one younger sister Jeanette who lives in Tucson AZ.

John graduated with a PhD in Plant 🌱 Pathology and moved to Grandview Washington in 1966 with his wife Jeanne when John accepted a job at an Experiment Station in Prosser Washington as a Research Scientist 👨‍🔬

John and his wife Jeanne have two children. A daughter Christie who lives in Richland and a son David who lives in the Netherlands. John is the proud grandfather of 6 grandchildren.

John retired after 34 years at the IAREC Experiment Station. During his career he traveled all over the world helping to cure diseases in pea 🫛 plants.

John spends his days enjoying western movies and loves a good John Wayne. His favorite color is green and he LOVES German Chocolate.

A very special thank you to his daughter Christine Brown, who shared some of her father with us today! We appreciate this wonderful highlight.

Kuma turned 5 !!

What a special weekend our Creekstone Therapy pup 🐶 has had!

It’s been such a blessing having a therapy pup at Creekstone Senior Living for our residents, attending agencies, resident families and staff. Kuma has brought so much love and so many snuggles to everyone he meets. It touches all of our hearts when we witness him lovingly sitting with residents as they decline. He feels the need of additional comfort and finds his way to those needing more attention.

We are grateful for him in our lives and for his service to Seniors.

Our team is wonderful!! They celebrated Kuma with a trip off site to the pet store so he could pick out his own “stuffy” a few of his favorite treats and his birthday cake 🎂

We celebrated with our team and residents with German Chocolate brownies and ice-cream and lots of love for our employee of the month, every month.

Kuma celebrated his best life doing what he loves almost as much as his residents. He played in the ocean chasing his ball and birds, rolling in the sand and unwinding from his work life.

Happy Birthday 🎊 Kuma ! You only know love. We all feel it.

We are all so fortunate to have you in our lives!

It’s CNA Appreciation week! We are so grateful to our Creekstone Team!

I have such admiration for our care team. As I walk through our community and remain in close communication with our team each day, I am humbled by their love and concern, tender hearts shown towards others, our residents, resident families, and our team.

It’s a privilege to work beside every one of our CNA’s and those working towards achieving their CNA in the near future!!

We’re always so grateful for another reason to celebrate!

Don is the youngest of 3 boys and married to his wife Erika for 56 years before she passed away. Don and Erika have 2 sons and one daughter. Don is a happy grandfather of 11 grandchildren.

🇺🇸 Don served in the US military as a Pararescue recovery specialist. We are so grateful for his service.

He loved playing golf ⛳️ and watching any Western movie or reading Western books 📕 He loves his family and always worked hard to make sure they had a good life.

Most importantly, Don loves Jesus❤️
