⚠️ Columbia Point Eye Care, a trusted name in optometric care throughout the Tri-Cities region, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Desert Valley Eye Care, effective September 1, 2025. ⚠️

Dr. Maureen Fahey, founder of Desert Valley Eye Care, will be transitioning into retirement after more than 30 years of dedicated service. She will remain on during the transition period to help ensure continuity of care for both patients and staff.

As part of this acquisition, Columbia Point Eye Care will relocate its Kennewick office from 7015 W Deschutes Avenue to the Desert Valley Eye Care facility on September 1, 2025.

This transition ensures continuity of care for patients while expanding access to services and reaffirming the organization’s commitment to clinical excellence and staff development. The Richland location will continue operating as usual.

Over the next 30 days, the two teams will be working closely together to facilitate a smooth transition. Staff introductions, leadership meetings, and integration efforts are already underway to support open communication and alignment.

This marks a new chapter for both practices—and a promising future for patients, staff, and the broader Tri-Cities community. 👓
