☀️ The heat is on! As temperatures rise, we're teaming up again with Ben Franklin Transit & Washington 211 and local partners to keep our community safe.

🏠 Need a place to cool off? These 2025 Temporary Cooling Centers are open during business hours across the Tri-Cities.

💧Helpful tips to stay safe in the heat:
• Drink plenty of water, even if you’re not thirsty
• Avoid strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day
• Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing
• Never leave kids or pets in cars—temperatures inside can rise fast
• Check on neighbors, seniors and those without AC
• Protect your pets' paws—if the pavement is too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their feet. Walk them early in the morning or after sunset

📍Call 2-1-1 anytime—toll-free, confidential and anonymous—to find the nearest cooling center or get connected to other resources.
