One of our favorite events is the Brookdale Canyon Lakes Luau that we host every year. The weather was perfect, and the food was amazing, and of course, we love our Hula Dancers! What a treat to have the Kona Ice Truck as well!

Coming home from our recent cruise trip, we had the pleasure of having a tour of St. John's Cathedral in Spokane. Sam led the tour and gave us some great history and information about the church. What a spectacular building and tour!

We had a spectacular cruise in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. We enjoyed the lake and the St. Joe's River. Lunch was served on our 6-hour cruise. What a beautiful day and trip!

We enjoyed our annual Canyon Lakes Art & Hobby Show. We have some talented residents and even had some family members who participated. A great-granddaughter displayed some art with her great-grandma! Good job, everyone!

We had a wonderful musical celebration with the Windwoods Quintet and Swing Unlimited performing for us. They were honoring one of their long-term members, Tom, who is retiring from the group. Tom is a resident here at Brookdale Canyon Lakes. We were honored to host this amazing night of music.

We had an exciting Breakfast Battle this week. Our theme this week was red, white & blue. We had a tie! The two winning dishes were breakfast burritos made by Deanna, our Resident Program Director, and pink fluff made by Christi, our Health & Wellness Director. Great job, Christi & Deanna!
