We are so excited to welcome Meghan-Care Coordinator to our Visiting Angels family! With her calm disposition, kind heart, and a genuine passion for helping others, she is such a beautiful addition to our care team.
Get to know her a little more below! 💛

Q: What did you do before coming to Visiting Angels?
A: Before joining the team, I worked for another in-home care agency as a Caregiver Supervisor and Training Coordinator. I also previously worked at Visiting Angels in Port Orchard as a Recruiting and Retention Specialist.

Q: What do you love most about your role?
A: I love being able to help families keep their loved ones in their homes for as long as possible. Supporting independence and comfort means a lot to me.

Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
A: I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I lived on the West side of Washington for 5 years and only made it home twice a year — so now I’m soaking up lots of time catching up since moving back!

Q: What song never fails to lift your mood?
A:“Keep Your Head Up” by Andy Grammer.

Q: What’s your go-to comfort food?
A: Hawaiian Pizza** 🍕 (pineapple on pizza is a personality!)

Q: Favorite quote, mantra, or words you live by?
A:“In a world where you can be anything, be kind.”

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes 🇺🇸

At Visiting Angels, it’s one of our greatest honors to serve those who once served us. Our veterans have given so much for our country, and we believe they deserve the highest level of dignity, compassion, and respect in return.

We had the privilege of celebrating Steve, a U.S. Navy veteran who just turned 97 years old!
As we gathered to celebrate his birthday, Steve shared stories from his time in the Navy — stories filled with courage, camaraderie, and humor that could only come from a life well-lived. Listening to him reminded us why we do what we do — to honor lives like his with the care and gratitude they deserve.

To all who have worn the uniform — thank you. We see you, we honor you, and we are forever grateful.

Please join us in welcoming Samantha to the Visiting Angels team! Her warmth, compassion, and bright smile bring so much light to our clients and our team! Get to know Samantha a little more below!

Q: What did you do before coming to Visiting Angels?
A: Before joining Visiting Angels, I was a homemaker and devoted mom to my three kids. I also worked part-time as an individual provider, which allowed me the flexibility to be the parent my children needed.

Q: What do you love most about your role?
A: Building relationships with individuals who have lived rich, beautiful lives and now need care is incredibly meaningful. Listening to their stories and being part of their journey — helping in ways that truly make a difference — is deeply rewarding.

Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
A: I love spending time with my family (and my furry family, of course 😜). I enjoy staying active, exploring the Pacific Northwest, working out, listening to educational podcasts, and reading — all things that help me keep growing and learning.

Q: What song never fails to lift your mood?
A: So many come to mind, but I’ll go with my PG option 😆 — “Roar” by Katy Perry! 🎵

Q: What’s your go-to comfort food?
A: Soup — all kinds! Give me a warm bowl of soup and I’m a happy girl. 😁

A client’s wife shared how impressed she was with Cindy’s patience, creativity, and knowledge. Cindy worked tirelessly to find different ways for the wife to assist with the bedpan, ultimately helping her discover a method she could manage on her own when alone.
