Neuroscience tells us that each emotion only lasts 90 seconds. Adrenaline, cortisol, stress chemistry — all rise, peak, and fade in about a minute and a half. ⏰

So why do we stay angry for hours, anxious for days, or sad for weeks?

Revel in your randomness. Embrace your weirdness and your beautiful heart. Go out there and be EXACTLY who you are. When you accept yourself fully, (and can even be amused by our human foibles) not one person, but many, will love you for exactly who you are.

Just because some people may not “get” you, doesn’t mean that you are not wonderful. What it does mean is that they are not ready or not yet willing to understand… as they are still working on their own healing.

There are others though, that maybe you have yet to meet, who would love to love the person you may be tempted to hide. Don’t hide - let this side of you be expressed, to be a lighthouse for others who share a similar energy. Then, as you shine in your authenticity, guess what? They can find you...
