Women are often behind the scenes, doing it all—caregiving, household chores, career, and everything in between.

Nearly two-thirds of caregivers are women (61%), carrying a disproportionate share of emotional and physical labor (AARP). The hard work of caregiving should be more visible and a shared responsibility—not something that often falls on women.

Beyond International Women’s Day, let’s recognize the invisible load so many women carry and work toward a future where care is more balanced. And to every caregiver—make space for the rest, joy, and support you deserve.💚

When Maureen joined Home Instead in 2019, advocacy and caregiving became her daily work.
