Hearing birds chirping before 5 a.m. during morning meditation is such a beautiful reminder of the happiness that is felt during spring.
We know from our qigong practice that the emotion associated with liver energy in the spring is happiness. Releasing any anger that we're harboring allows us to create more space for happiness and balances our liver systems. ☯️
Consider this quote from Thich Nhat Hanh: "We have a seed of anger in us. We have a seed of compassion in us. The practice is to help the seed of compassion to grow and the seed of anger to shrink.”
