We’re teaming up with the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program to make healthy living fun for our Early Head Start families! 🥕👩‍🍳 Each month, parents and children cook up nutritious, budget-friendly recipes and enjoy creative food-themed activities led by a WIC instructor.

It’s all about trying new foods, learning healthy habits, and having fun together! 💚

Robin’s journey is one of determination, love, and perseverance. 💪

A single mom to three boys, Robin has been part of KAC’s Early Head Start program with each of her children—most recently since her youngest was just a month old. Through every challenge, she stayed focused on building a better life for her family.

In 2023, she began her path to homeownership through Habitat for Humanity while balancing two jobs. Even when her full-time job was cut, she never gave up. With continued support from her EHS team, she kept pushing forward and, in November 2024, became a proud homeowner. 🏡✨

Her story shows what’s possible when hard work meets the right support.
