Hello Patients and Friends,
As a medical and retail office, we would like to update you on our current health safety procedures.
Aseptic technique. Every hard surface, tool, implement, frame – anything that is touched by patient or staff – is routinely disinfected or ultrasonically cleaned after use.
The same holds true for Dr Grady's exam room; all equipment that is used in patient contact is cold sterilized after each patient visit.
We also offer hand washing stations to be used by patients pre/post visit.
Although nothing can be absolute in terms of a disinfection process, with the above listed precautions, our office is probably one of the safer places due to this routine disinfection protocol.
Viewing and trying on eyeglass frames has been and will continue to be one-on-one with staff and by appointment. This means we pace our appointments and limit the number of patients in the office at any given time. Also that our frames and associated equipment are disinfected after each use.
What things can you do?
Wash your hands multiple times a day.
Don’t touch your face, nose, or eyes. Use hand sanitizer frequently.
Clean your phone and debit/credit cards.
When coughing or sneezing use tissues or cough into the crook of your
elbow “vampire cough”, then wash hands and face.
If you have severe cold or flu like symptoms, stay home and consult
with your physician.
Follow Department of Health Recommendations about travel and large
social gatherings and mass transit use.
We continue to closely monitor the CDC guidelines and Southeastern WI/Northern IL status. Until further notice, our office hours remain the same.
Monday: 9-5, Tuesday: 10-7, Wednesday: closed,
Thursday: 10-5, Friday: 1-6, Saturday: open by appointment
We wish you health.
