This likely came from the 1940s–50s… back when patients were expected to know that “T.I.D.” meant three times a day 👀

This vintage bottle of Uromide Tablets was used for the prevention of kidney stones and check out that label:

“Exact daily dosage”
“Economy—a major factor”
Dosage: one tablet T.I.D. (three times daily)

Some things never change… patients still want treatments that are simple, effective, and affordable.
