Fruit Ridge Notes
Friday - February 20 - 2026

Greetings AgrBizz Associates & Fave Grower Pals.
We Hope You Are Well.. Happy.. Blessed... ....So...
When will we Need to Start Spraying in Apples around the Ridge..??...

I see the ForeCast showing Lows Next week in the Teen*s...4 Days with Chance of Snow... Some early March Lows 22*..29*..30*F... But Here's What Acupla Fave SmartMoney Pals always Say... 'Ya gotta be Fueled-Up and Ready-to-Roll Every Year by March 15.. Every Year'... πŸ§πŸ€”πŸ˜•... I concur. If MommaNature gets crazy and brings several 70*-80* in a row with some light rains..The Game Is On... It has happened too many times...in recent history. Years ago One Good Ol Boy said "I can see some Green Tip on some Light Soils...South Slopes today Noon. Next Morning...Green Tip All Over The Place...I talk to one Grower Pal frequently that is always Ready Locked & Loaded before Christmas...Says "I like to have that checked-off my List"... Just add Fuel... I Like the Way he Rolls...
.Yes...For Sure...the *Abamectin will again be a Key Component in the Summer Wars on ERMite... 2 Apps...Back-to-Back...
First App ..depending on Weather and EggHatch..about Petal-Fall-to-1st Cover Timing. Then if we're gettn really Hot Summer Weather, the 2nd Appln about 10-14 Days Later. Cool Rainy Weather..??..15-20 Days between.
Dija remember that Abamectin is derived from a Beneficial Bacteria that grows off Root Hairs of specific Plants. It is a fermented Natural Compound. Kinda helps us know why its been workn for 50 Years. Here's acupla Cool Reminders bout using *AgriMek.. *Abba.. *EpiMek.. Theres alot of Names for *Abamectin. I still like the Original 0.15EC Formulation...altho we do have the much stronger 'A.I.' Abamectin product available...Same Thing..just use alot less per acre.

Lookn at the Several Crops on the Label..This stuff actually Controls and/or Suppresses alot of serious Pests... Psyllids.. Miners.. All the Mites[9].. Thrips.. PotatoBeetle.. PinWorms.. Hoppers.. Skeletonizers.. Psylla.. Others.
120% Coverage is Veerrrry Important...Quite Achievable when doing the 'Alternate-Center Strategy'...
Soooo.... 28 Days P.H.I. ...No more than 2 - 20 oz.-Ac.-Applns-per-Season...Using the 0.15EC 'Original' Formulation... I know some Guys that always Write down 21 Days (officially) between their 2 Applns...Some Labels call for that. The Label is the Law. Ask me about some 'Special' Appln Ideas...
And..We Always use the Highest Rate of your InSpray 90 NIS Surfactant... Most Guys do 4-6 Pt-per-100-Gallons...This Eliminates the Need for Any Crop Oils that are Called for on the Label. The 90-10-NIS InSpray 90 is Sooooo Clean-Easy....and No Tank Mix Issues or Phyto like you get with Oils. I never ever recommend any Oils of any kind...as I usually have 12 Chems goin into the Tank Mix. DO NOT Try that when any Oils are Involved. Your Big Rate InSpray Plus Your 1 Pint-100-Gallon Indicate 5 is as good as you can get...for Tank pH and Compatibility and Highest-Efficacy.
The Indy5 does Sequestering.. and lowers pH..and is also a LightWeight NIS. Put your Indy5 in the Tank 1st...and the InSpray90 whenever you want.
But...If I Have a ProcessApple Block with a Horrible ERMite Problem Historically...and I dont care bout some Fruit Russet and Phyto...I would seriously consider a Full Rate CropOil with the Full Rate AgriMek. Some Real Good Pals say that 'Oil' makes a difference. Use alot.

..Yup...Keep Checking around...Buy 1 Plt-Get 1 Plt Free... But..!!.. Wait..!!!... If I'm a BluSludge User..??..I'd be Holding Out for 'Buy 1 Plt Get 2 Plt Free'...
WhyπŸ€”the OnGoing Verbal-Beating of the Ol'BlueSludge..🀨..??..??...1*Soooo Comparatively Expen$ive..!!!.. 2*Sooo Abrasive with Phyto and Russetting.. 3*Sooooo Huuuuge Mess.. 4*Soooo Low Efficacy-NON-Systemic.. 5*Gotta Find the right shovel for getting the Sludge out of the Tank.. 6*Tank-Mix-Compatability Issues..
And...Because the Xtreeeeeme HighEfficacy-LowCo$t ""005"" from MagnaBon is the only Cu Bactericide-Fungicide that the University Researchers have Identified as "Systemic"...and also that All Researchers consider a Bactericide... One Pal had always thot all Cu.Products were Bactericides..but there are some that are not Labeled as such...They Have Not proved control of F.Blight Bacteria... This is Huuuuuge when we get to 'GreenTip Stage' of Growth and Beyond. MagnaBons"005" gets in..and stays busy. SmartMoney Pals get into 1 Pt-Acre EarlyEarly[$8] and Stay In It..$8 per-Week...Every Week...Some Do 14 Apps-Season.
Dija Realize You're Legally allowed 248 Apps per Season....32 Gal.Acre.per.Season..??..Thats how safe it is to Your TopSoil and Crops our "005" is...and... Organic'OMRI'Listed also...Certainly a Huuuuge Advantage'Weapon' in the Organic Production Arsenal ...and Crazy-Low-Cost-Cheap. I always get so pi**ed about the Pricing on almost all OMRI Listed Products...Feel Sooo Bad for my Organic Production Guys .. Always gettn ripped-off...But Not by Frankie@MagnaBon... My Organic Guys doin Veggies do 10oz-12oz..16 oz-Acre... $5 to $8... Zero [0] Days PHI... Controlling a Huuuuge List of Fungal/Bacterial Disease Issues...
You're familiar with some of the BluSludge Cu.Products... 77%A.I...50% Equi.MetallicCopper... You're allowed 3lb-Ac..10 Apps-Season...Because it will ruin your TopSoil with Copper Toxicity ... and yet Ya gotta use that Full-Rate to get even a tiny Sniff of any Results...No Systemic Activity...It just Lays there and Burns...Phyto...Ugly... and ..Remember to Keep a Man of smaller stature around to get into that Spray Tank with a shovel...for the BluSludge Removal...

Back Soon... Some of The Team is OnTheRoad...
Stay In Touch... Stay Locked & Loaded...
...And Stayn In His Peace....r

Fruit Ridge Notes 2-16-2026

Hello Dear Grower Friends & Agr.Associate Pals... We Pray You Are All Well & Blessed...and In His Peace...

Hey... If you happen to see Brother Jim Today..??... It's his 76th Birthday..!!!!...
✝️β™₯οΈπŸ™πŸ˜ƒπŸ₯³ We're Wishing You a Splendid Birthday Bro..β˜ΊοΈπŸ˜„πŸ€©πŸ€—πŸ₯°πŸ™πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ŽπŸ₯³

Sooooo... I've been On the Road... And...Since We Last Talked... The SeaHawks did Reeeaaaaally Great...
And I hope alot of you got to see the PreGame InterViews with 15 or 20 of the SeaHawks Players..???... They were all Veeerrrrry Pro-Jesus Christ ...Expressing their love for God...and their Trust in Him. It was Soooo UpLifting.. like Mind-Blowingly Beautiful.
That Sports-Cast happened to come on a Christian TV Station following a Preacher we were watching... I just Pray their Witnessing will impact that Seattle area... Sooooo BackAssWards about Everything...Blissfully Wollering Liberal IgnoramusDumAssNess. πŸ˜•πŸ˜žπŸ˜₯

Our Weather Trend around the Ridge has been average-Typical...with Acupla Days alot Colder than the Long Term Average.
Lookn ahead 10-Days ..the average Hi-Temps are supposed to be 41*s...with acupla days in Low 50*s ..and Lows avg'g 28*F...with acupla Days chance of Rain-Slush-Snow...and maybe 5 Days with alittle SunShine.

Some of my Fave Grower Friends that seriously Know Stuff..??... say the Peach Crop around here will be quite diminished ...where we had some -10* to -15*F...
This always seems bizarre to me..that in the dead of winter in deep dormancy, a Peach Crop can freeze dead...but in Full Bloom they can sometimes survive 26*- 27*F...πŸ§πŸ€¨πŸ€”πŸ˜³...

Lots of Meetings these Days... Sooooo very Glad the Next Generation is handling most of that. Deanna and Alicia are very well informed on alot of the Newer Products and Strategies...And are of course Handling All Day-to-Day-Details.
For many New Readers... Deanna has been helping me 'On-&-Off' for her whole Life... and ... Alicia's Family has been Helping Reister's s since I was 8 Yrs.Old.... RGSs .. It's a Family Gig. My Brother Bob was 20 yrs old and running things when Alicia's GrandDaddy Lupe was Trimming Trees right along-side Brother Bob.
And..... For This '26 Season...

All Pricing is getting into place... Some still moving a bit...Typical February Market Positioning...
I am certain alot of my Fave NukeRoids are again gonna be Veeerrrry Low-Co$t-High-Efficacy-Cheap.. Luv Cheap..LuvLuvLuv It...
When we can Tank-Mix 2-3-4 of these..getting us into different Modes-of-action..Giving us multiple Angles of Kill-Shot...while preventing Resistance Issues... The Targets Don't know what Hit Them... And the Tank-Mix-Combo includes a huge, long list of Target-Pests..for $15-Acre... While some new Chemistries have 1-2..maybe 3 Targets..for $48-Acre....
πŸ€”Start-Up-FireBlight-I-Cides..??...πŸ™„πŸ€¨πŸ€”.. Some Pals like to use a HiPriced Old BlueSludge'Cu' EarlyEarly on Blocks where they had severe Levels FireBlight..??..Goin like before any GreenTissue is exposed. πŸ€” OK..But..I'd certainly prefer 2 weeks before any Green. Many of these Ol'Junk.Grade.Sludge.Cu.Products cause alot of Finish Issues if applied anywhere near any 'Green'Timing.
So..At 160% Coverage-Full Rate$ this can help against OverWintering Inoculum in Limb-Bark-Cracks-Crevices... and also help against all kinds of other Crap in the Ground Trash... But ..This Ol'Stuff is not Systemic...which of course at Dormant Stage isn't a Huuge Issue...
But.. please take Note of what that sludge-mess i$ co$ting you..!!..??..!!.. 😳🀯😟.. Unless you got one of those 'Buy 1 Pallet Get 1 Free' Deals..??...😳..There has been some CrazyGoofy stuff goin on with other Cu.Fungicides People trying desperately to Compete with the Low-Cost-Per-Acre-High-Efficacy of our CS2005 Systemic Bactericide-Fungicide""005""...and ..Trying to perform even Half-As-Good as our Special Disease-Prevent Tank-Mix Strategy which has proven to be Xtreeeeeme High-Efficacy on All Diseases..Bacterial & Fungal..All...and for Half the per-acre Co$t of some of the Ol'Sludge Coppers....
And then ...These Growers also need to spend alot of $$$ on Equipment CleanUp..as in Cleaning Solvents..2 Guys..2 Hours..if you're gonna get all the BlueCrap off the Expensive Paint. I'll bet it's $100-per-Rig for Clean-Up.
And by Contrast...'005' actually cleans as it works. Some Growers actually use it as a Cleaning Aide because of the Veeerrrrry Low pH..
I'll be back with that Special 'All-Disease-Control-Tank-Mix' Details... This includes '005'..SuperPhites.. SARs.. PGRs... Which in some Scenarios Costs Less than Half of a Full-Rate-BlueSludge... and Tank-Mixes with Everything else we wanna do...

Also, if you haven't yet RSVP'd for our Reister Winter Meetings, please do so.
