💙Client Story💙 We met this sweet elderly man when he was in a tough spot. Isolated in his home, in a deep depression from losing his wife, and behind in all his bills. He had a stack of dozens of empty "Meals on Wheels" containers in his living room - that was all he ate.
With some phone calls together, we found out his home was in foreclosure and set to be auctioned off in a few weeks. Here's what SASH did to assist this gentleman:
🏡 We provided a cash advance to take his home out of foreclosure
🏡 We provided funds to pay for his care at a local assisted living community
🏡 We helped him move in, facilitating every detail of moving day
🏡 We arranged to clean out his home, and helped him make extra funds with the sale of valuable items he no longer needed

The Story of SASH’s Founding

In the year 2000, Rebecca Bomann assisted her 82-year old grandfather Everet with the sale of his home in Kitsap County. The plan was simple - to help him downsize out of his two-story home so he could move in with Rebecca and her husband in the south Seattle area, getting daily care and companionship.

However, the home sale process turned out to be a months-long, stressful, arduous process that spent Rebecca’s grandfather physically, emotionally, and physically. Rebecca believed that her grandfather deserved a better experience. For the next sixteen months she cared for her grandfather in her home, until just a couple weeks before he passed away.

Seeing other senior homeowners go through the same overwhelming home sale process with no better options from which to choose, Rebecca decided to create a service that would meet this need. Blending her background in social work, senior care, and real estate, she founded SASH Senior Home Sale Services in 2005.

From that year forward, SASH has been providing outstanding home sale services to seniors, with a wide range of assistance and options that are custom designed around each client. Earning the trust of the Puget Sound elder care community, SASH receives referrals from elder lawyers, social workers, assisted living directors, financial planners, estate lawyers, home nurses, home care agencies, and hundreds more.
