Open Hands will now be using massagebook to schedule appointment bookings. Most likely the link will remain the same - http://openhandsmassagetherapy.com/services.html
After the first time booking with Massagebook, things should work pretty much the same way as with square.

You will be asked to create an account the first time booking with the new site, where you will be able to see past and upcoming appointments.
You will also be sent a link to a client intake form. If you would like to save time at your scheduled appointment, the form can be submitted online before you come in. Even if you have been seeing me for years, I would like to get updated information.

When you come for a massage, I will be wearing a mask. I am one of the folks at high risk, despite fully vaccinated.

Right now, clients can choose to mask up or not. If the local conditions change for the worse, that will change as well.

The office has gotten new windows! This should help with temperature, noise & keep out the buzzy bity bugs that had made a home in the old wooden window frames & would come into the office for unwanted visits.

Coming next, a comfy chair for you to sit in during intake, or for those who come in pairs & have to wait their turn. It has been ordered, and should arrive in about a week

After 6 years, I am raising my rates by 5$/hour. Still focused on keeping sessions affordable, I also need to be able to pay for supplies/rent for the office & pay myself something approaching a living wage.

Went to bandcamp & purchased a large set of albums suitable for massage sessions, this one included. Folks who have come in for a massage in the past months have probably heard part of this album. Those who come in weekly have probably become familiar with it.

So, no more youtube commercials popping up in the middle of the session to help you relax, no more youtube pausing the music after 15 minutes, waiting for me to poke a button. and the artists will be paid properly for their work, instead of fractions of a penny from those intrusive ads.

Still working to keep sessions affordable

Rates will increase by $5 for all services starting Jan 2022. Discounts won't be changing. Please let me know if this will put the services out of financial reach and we can work something out. Thank you for trusting me with your massage therapy needs.

Recent upgrades to the treatment area. 3/4 inch padded flooring and a new face cradle with more mobility along with a hanging arm rest shelf.
