🚧 NATIONAL WORK ZONE AWARENESS WEEK 🚧
APRIL 20–24, 2026
In Washington state, 61 WSDOT employees have been killed in work zones since 1950. According to new state statistics, there were 1,557 work zone-related crashes in 2025.
This annual spring campaign is held to encourage safe driving through highway work zones. As motorists, we can all do our part:
1. Slow Down: Speeding is a leading cause of work zone crashes.
2. Phone Down: Distracted driving kills.
3. Give Space: Watch for workers and moving equipment.
For workers, National Safety provides the gear to keep your team safe. Ensure your job site meets MUTCD standards with our top-tier traffic solutions.
