Maddalena's has lunch now Thursday -Saturday! My sandwich was so tasty. I got a chance to meet and talk with one of the owners, Mandy (Amanda), and heard about the exciting plans to expand. They have the empty lot next door. North Water is becoming such a lovely end of town. Love my little neighborhood. 🌷

Humbled by the shout out from Dia. Here's a podcast she had with Main Street Kent explaining what it took to beautify the Sherman House that has been moved around a few times and now houses her accounting business. She talks about her accounting business and creative tee-shirt business designed to help businesses but also gives back 25% to nonprofit. 🪷Continuing Education Announcement🪷
Later this month I'm going to get additional training in Ayurveda Massage. I'm not sure if I will use this sequence to replace the one I have or if I will integrate elements. If you're not sure what I'm talking about here is more info;
Abhyanga Marma massage is a rhythmic, full-body Ayurvedic therapy that combines the use of warm, herb-infused oils with the stimulation of Marma points—specific vital (bio-electric) energy centers located across the body.
​While the Abhyanga portion focuses on nourishing the skin and calming the nervous system through long, flowing strokes, the Marma integration targets these anatomical intersections of muscle, bone, and joints to release energetic blockages. The goal of the treatment is to balance the doshas (constitution s), improve lymphatic drainage, and restore the free flow of Prana (life force) throughout the body’s physical and subtle channels.
