Dr. Connie Sanchez, ND graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine (formerly known as National College of Naturopathic Medicine) in Portland, Oregon, in 2001 with a doctorate in naturopathic medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree in biology in Denver, Colorado, in 1996. Growing up in Denver, Dr. Sanchez returned to start her first practice while teaching college courses in health, fitness and nutrition.
Dr. Sanchez is deeply committed to the naturopathic principle of “doctor as teacher” (docere) and believes that education is key to empowering her patients to make meaningful changes that optimize their health. Her clinical expertise focuses on chronic illness (post viral, bacterial, MSIDS/Lyme, MCAS), gastrointestinal disorders, autoimmune disease, and medically directed water fasting.
She is a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, GastroANP, and the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians. With extensive training in traditional naturopathic modalities—such as hydrotherapy, botanical medicine, exercise, nutrition, and fasting—Dr. Sanchez approaches health care with the philosophy of “first do no harm,” focusing on supporting the body’s natural ability to heal while minimizing the use of pharmaceutical drugs.
In both her role as a primary care provider and a naturopathic physician, Dr. Sanchez blends modern medicine with natural, holistic practices to guide patients toward long-term wellness and healing.
