This page is to be used as a source for health/medical information that I can provide as a Naturopathic Doctor. I will have access to unlimited health/medical information such as other Doctors, Professors, library database at Bastyr University and current research being done. Biography:
Born and raised in Washington, Dr. Dallin LeGrand Peterson learned about Naturopathic medicine at an early age of 14 from his neighbor Doctor Dumovic. There he spent several years during his high school, undergraduate studies and medical studies learning about Naturopathic medicine from Dr. Dumovic. Dr. LeGrand received his Bachelors degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Neurobehavioral Science and Pre-medicine from Brigham Young University. He then continued his studies and received his Naturopathic Medical degree from Bastyr University. During his clinical rotations, Dr. LeGrand interned with Dr. Katherine Raymer MD, ND who specializes in ADHD and Autism. He also spent years interning with both Dr. Dumovic and Dr. Dodge, who both specialize in sports medicine. This helped him become skilled in the arts and techniques of physical medicine to treat patients with chronic and acute muscle skeletal issues. At age 11, Dr. LeGrand discovered the importance of water fasting and made it a lifelong practice of his. At age 17, he went on his first intense cleanse and realized how important the body needs to detoxify on a regular basis. Through his own experience and treating patients with cleansing and water fasting he discovered that cleansing the body had the most profound impact on healing the body than any other treatment out there. Dr. LeGrand’s true focus in Naturopathic medicine is helping patients prep and go through cleansing because he knows it is one of the most effective treatments that Naturopathic medicine has to offer. When Dr. LeGrand is not spending time with patients he enjoys spending time with his wife and soon to be baby girl. Dr. LeGrand enjoys the arts by painting, drawing, dancing and currently making videos for healthy recipes and health tips. He also enjoys the great outdoors, mountain biking, rock climbing, swimming and running. He loves to learn and grow from reading and learning from other knowledgeable people. Caveat:

🔥 Ever feel emotions hit harder than they should?

People with ADHD often experience emotional hyperarousal — meaning joy feels electric ⚡, but frustration can feel overwhelming.

It’s not being “too sensitive” — it’s just how your brain processes emotion on max volume. 🎧💥

💬 Can you relate? What emotion hits you the hardest? 👇

🚀 Struggling to stay motivated? It’s not always about “willpower” — your brain chemistry plays a HUGE role.

These 10 supplements can help fuel neurotransmitters like acetylcholine, dopamine, and serotonin — the very chemicals that drive focus, energy, and motivation.

✨ Some highlights:
🧠 Alpha GPC → Boosts memory & drive
🌿 Saffron → Lifts mood + ADHD support
⚡ Mucuna & Tyrosine → Build dopamine naturally
😌 L-Theanine → Calm focus, less stress
🔋 B6 & Vitamin D → Nutrients your brain can’t function without

💡 Remember: supplements are just one piece of the puzzle — habits, sleep, and lifestyle seal the deal.

🌙 Ever feel like your brain has a mind of its own at night?

For many people with ADHD, the problem isn’t being tired — it’s that the brain refuses to shut off. 🧠⚡ Racing thoughts, bursts of energy, and late-night “second winds” make falling asleep a daily struggle.

This isn’t just about bad habits — it’s how the ADHD brain is wired. The result? Staying up way too late, fighting grogginess the next morning, and living in a constant cycle of sleep debt. 😴

✨ The good news: with the right routines, sleep hygiene, and sometimes support from a professional, it’s possible to train your brain into more restful nights.

💬 Do you get those late-night second winds too? Share your experience below ⬇️

Iron isn’t just about energy — it fuels your brain too. 🧠⚡

🥱 Low Iron = brain fog, fatigue, and mood swings.
⚡ Optimal Iron = sharper focus, clearer thinking, and better mental performance.

Don’t overlook this mineral — your brain depends on it. ✨

👉 Always check with a doctor before supplementing.

🍞 ADHD Fact:
People with ADHD often crave simple carbs like bread, sweets, and snacks because they give a quick dopamine boost and a burst of energy. ⚡

But here’s the catch: that spike is usually followed by a sharp crash in blood sugar and dopamine. 😴 This can leave you feeling more tired, irritable, and unfocused than before.

That’s why balancing carbs with protein, fiber, and healthy fats can help keep energy and focus more stable throughout the day. 🥩🥑🥦

No two people with ADHD respond to supplements the same way. 💊🧠

🧪 One person might thrive on a supplement…
😵 Another might feel anxious or lose sleep.
📈 Some notice huge improvements in focus and mood…
📉 Others barely feel a difference at all.

And that doesn’t mean the supplements “doesn’t work” — it means the ADHD brain is unique.

➡️ Finding the right treatment takes patience, adjustments, and sometimes more than just pills.
