Ninety-five years… what a beautiful milestone 💚
Today we had the honor of celebrating Mary’s 95th birthday, surrounded by the people who matter most—her family, her friends, and a whole lot of love. From the laughter shared around the table to the stories that filled the room, it was one of those moments you just wish you could bottle up.
Mary reminded all of us what a life well-lived looks like—grace, strength, humor, and a heart that has clearly touched so many along the way. Watching generations come together to celebrate her was something truly special.
There’s just something about days like this… where time slows down a little, connections feel deeper, and everyone leaves with a full heart. We’re so grateful to have been part of it.
Happy 95th Birthday, Mary—you are so loved 🎂💐

🏇 Derby Day at Autumn Trace 🌹
Today, our community gathered to watch the 152nd Kentucky Derby, one of the most iconic events in horse racing and the first leg of the Triple Crown. Known as “The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports,” this year’s race certainly lived up to the tradition.
Golden Tempo delivered an impressive performance, making a strong late move down the stretch to secure the win in a thrilling finish. The race was a true display of strategy, endurance, and timing—everything that makes the Derby such a celebrated event year after year.
Our community members enjoyed the excitement together, cheering on their favorites and sharing in a timeless tradition. At Autumn Trace, it’s moments like these—filled with connection, energy, and shared experiences—that make our community so special.

We had such a busy and fun-filled week here! 💛

We kicked things off with our Town Hall meeting, followed by our Harvest Hangout with coffee and great conversation. Throughout the week, we stayed active with games, exercise, and of course—BINGO! 🎉

We also celebrated our birthdays with cake, enjoyed some relaxing nail time, and had a special visit from MOD SIR. We even kicked off our “War” for the pie-in-the-face challenge—let the fun competition begin! 😄🥧

To wrap it all up, we ended the week with a cozy movie night today! 🍿

So many smiles, laughs, and great moments shared together!

🎓💙 2027 Compassion in Healthcare Scholarship – Autumn Trace Kentland 💙🎓
Autumn Trace – Kentland is proud to offer a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior (Class of 2027) who plans to pursue a career in the healthcare field.

✅ Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must:

Be a graduating high school senior (Class of 2027)

Plan to pursue a healthcare-related career

Reside within a 50-mile radius of Autumn Trace – Kentland

This scholarship is designed to support students who demonstrate:
✔ A passion for caregiving
✔ Strong personal character
✔ Active community involvement

📝 What students need to apply:

Completed application

A 1,000-word original essay focused on:

Passion for caregiving

Character

Community involvement

📅 Important Dates:

Application Period: April – May 2027

Submission: kimberly.denault@autumntracecommunities.com

Selection: June 2027

💰 Scholarship Details:
Funds will be sent directly to the student’s school after the first semester, once:

Proof of enrollment is provided

A minimum GPA of 2.8 is maintained

Today was one of those days that reminds you exactly what Autumn Trace Kentland is all about 💛

We had some of our former family members come back to visit today… and the hugs were unreal. The kind of hugs that were heartfelt and embraced all around—reminding you how deep these connections really go.

There was laughter, stories, and so many memories being shared… and in that moment, it was clear—this isn’t just a community, it’s family.

We’re reminded of this often when families come back to volunteer and visit. They will always be a part of the Autumn Trace family, and their loved ones will always be a part of our hearts.

The love doesn’t leave when someone moves on. The connections don’t fade. They stay, they grow, and they bring people back home.

There’s something really special happening at our morning coffee ☕️

We’ve had the honor of hosting some familiar faces from The Good Table while they work toward rebuilding, and it’s been such a joy having everyone gather, laugh, and start their mornings together again. The stories, the friendships, the routine—it’s all still there… just in a new spot for now 💛

This past Friday, Chanin (our incredible cook 👩‍🍳) decided to surprise everyone with biscuits & gravy. And let’s just say… there were some pretty serious reviews being handed out. A few folks may have even said it was the best they’ve had—we’ll let you decide that for yourself 😉

We know how much The Good Table means to this group and to our community. We’re just grateful to provide a place to keep the coffee hot and the conversations going until they’re back home again.

Until then… the coffee’s on and the door is open.

We had a fantastic day at Autumn Trace!
The morning kicked off with some engaging trivia, full of laughter and friendly competition. We then enjoyed a wonderful cookout—thank you so much to Judy, Judy, and Linda for helping make it so special. We truly appreciate you!
We wrapped up the afternoon outside enjoying the beautiful weather with penny pitching and a few lively rounds of Left Right Center. It was the perfect way to end a great day together! 🌞🎲
