We started our day filling the building with the smell of homemade banana bread 🍌🍞 and enjoying a fun game of UNO! Sorry we were so busy having fun yesterday that we’re just now posting! We then visited Bandit 🐾 — hope you feel better soon, Bandit, we are all thinking of you — kept the laughs going with a “Guess the Item” game, and wrapped things up by starting our new Journaling Club. Such a great day of connection, creativity, and smiles 💛

We had so much fun today playing balloon volleyball 🎈 and ending the day with some rounds of bingo! Lots of laughs and friendly competition.

We had a great end to the week and start to the weekend! 🎉
Thursday was full of fun with a lively game of Bingo, and we wrapped up some puzzles together. 🧩
Today, we enjoyed a trip to the antique shop—so many memories and stories shared along the way. ❤️
It’s always special spending time together and making moments like these!

We started our day with a visit from the podiatrist to keep our feet happy and healthy 👣. Afterwards, we shared laughter and smiles playing Go Fish 🃏 and Bunco 🎲. It’s the little moments together that make every day so special 💛.

A lovely day in our community 💕 Nails were done, Georgie stopped by for a visit, and we wrapped things up with a friendly game of Yahtzee 🎲 So thankful for these simple, meaningful moments together.

🌟 Community Member of the Month: Darlene 🌟
Please help us celebrate Darlene, our Community Member of the Month! 💙
Darlene is from South Holland, Illinois and has been part of the Kentland community since the end of July. From the moment she arrived, she’s helped make our community a nice place to be by building meaningful friendships and sharing her fun-loving spirit. She loves to do all activity and keep herself going!

Darlene was married for 66 years on Valentine’s Day, he sadly passed away 22 years ago. She is a proud mother of two children and has lived a life full of incredible experiences. She spent 18 years racing cars, was raised on a farm, ran an onion farm, and married the last farmer in her hometownbefore moving to Florida.
What does Darlene love most about our community?�👉 The good friendships and the welcoming atmosphere.
A fun fact about Darlene?�😄 You never know what she’s going to do next!
If she could have dinner with anyone, it would be her husband—the last farmer in town—because she misses him dearly and would love to cook something special just for him.
💬 Favorite life motto:�“If you have a problem, believe in the man upstairs.”
😊 What always makes her smile:�Friendship and going “bumbing.”
💡 Life advice she’d like to share:�“Be honest, everybody.”

We started our morning catching up from the weekend, then celebrated National Whipped Cream Day with a whipped cream social! Lots of smiles, laughs, and sweet treats! We then enjoyed the weather to end off our day!🤍🍦

We started our day with Bunco at the library for the very first time and had an absolute blast! 🎲📚 Laughter filled the room, friendly competition was strong, and everyone had so much fun. We then went home & kept the energy going with a Minute to Win It game and wrapped up the day with some Yahtzee. What a great day of games, smiles, and memories! 😊
