We have a full roster of classes this week at the studio!!

Monday: Power Step! The perfect combo of aerobic steps to your favorite songs and strength training. You never know what Bailey will throw at you in these classes!

Tuesday: HIIT Strength. A station-based class where you can get your heart rate up and challenge your muscles. Muscle focus: biceps/triceps

Wednesday: back with another Power Step class!

Friday: Spicy Friday, the class where you show up early, have no idea what we’ll be doing, and leave feeling like you’ve had a great workout!

Saturday: Sweat & Sculpt. The perfect class to learn the step moves and challenge yourself with some heavier weights. The good news? Longer break times in this class!

Whatever you choose, we’ll be thrilled to see you!

Check out Michelle’s story! 😍 She’s been a studio and Work It Like a Woman member since 2024 and has made amazing progress since starting her journey!

What made you finally decide to bite the bullet and come to class?
I could keep going and going on how this journey has changed my life for the better! I could not hold myself accountable going to the gym by myself. I had trouble figuring out what workouts to do and routines to follow as there's just so many out there. A Youtube instructor is not going to point out or help you if you're doing something wrong and warn you that you could hurt yourself. I had my doctor tell me I was showing signs of osteopenia and had high cholesterol already at a young age and knew I had to fix it now before it was too late.

What is your favorite class?
Power Steps is now my favorite class. Even with having medical issues that make it harder I have found things to help and power through as I will not let it stop me from doing what I enjoy doing. I will keep pushing to keep the symptoms only mild and not severe as long as I can and thanks to Bailey’s class I have the opportunity and extra push to do so.

What have you gained since consistently coming to classes?
I have gained muscle mass and have improved my blood work. Being in the class has given me my confidence back and has also taught me a lot about nutrition. It is amazing to have Bailey at my fingertips for any questions I have.

Another note to add is I hear a lot of people say they want to join but are scared. I was that person and I understand 100%. I pushed and now I have new friends and also realized I used to baby sit for someone in class so I got to reconnect with her Also others have seen my progress and it has encouraged them to join. That alone made me feel fantastic knowing my story and progress helped someone else become healthier. Classes are no longer classes; it's a daily routine for me. It's one hour off the couch, one hour of "chirping" (inside studio joke IYKYK haha), one hour of friendships and just one hour of forgetting what's going on outside of the studio. It's no longer physical, it's mental too.

This month is packed with so many good classes and opportunities to workout!

🚨We have a new class! SPICY FRIDAYS at 5:15am is going to be 🔥 Spicy Friday brings the heat in all the best ways. This strength+cardio combo class is designed to challenge you, surprise you, and keep things anything but boring. Each week features a different format, so you’ll never quite know what’s coming- but you’ll leave feeling strong, sweaty, and accomplished. It’s the perfect, fiery start to your Friday and weekend!

POWER STEP on Saturday 4/4 is a themed class (back to the oldies) and is going to be so much fun!

Meet Joy, a member at Inspirations Studio since July of 2023. 😎

Joy has taken almost 150 classes at the studio and over a 2 year period has lost over 90lbs!

Here’s what Joy has to say:

What is your favorite class?
My favorite class is HIIT. I would do HIIT daily if I could.

What has been the biggest factor in your weight loss?
My biggest factors in weight loss required a total lifestyle change. I was prediabetic and had been on long term steroids for an autoimmune disorder. I now eat foods that I would have never considered eating before. Portion control was also something I struggled with. I completely stay away from alcohol. I might have two drinks a year now. I have had to learn what foods and drinks cause inflammation in my body and stay away from them. The weight loss wasn’t initially the goal. The goal was to get healthier. The weight loss was certainly a perk.

I do wish people would focus less on the scale and more on health. I can do things at almost 50, that I couldn’t do at 30. I can physically work circles around many people in their 20’s. I have so many people comment that I’m too thin now. They are actually floored when I tell them I weigh 150. Again, the number on the scale means nothing. My Dr is beyond pleased with my bloodwork and my health. That’s what we all should be focused on and not the scale.

What advice would you give someone thinking about taking a class but is scared?
If you’re scared to try a class, just know we all were in the beginning. I didn’t know anyone that first day. The ladies are the most supportive group of women I’ve ever met and I have made some amazing friends out of this journey. All the women in my class are also working full time. You just have to make yourself a priority. You won’t regret it!

Wednesday: relax with Kelsie in a gentle yoga flow, sure to leave you feeling rejuvenated.

Thursday: another Power Step! No two classes are the same!

Saturday: Sweat & Sculpt. The perfect class to learn the step moves and challenge yourself with some heavier weights. The good news? Longer break times in this class!
