Hey yall,
Its been a while.
I've never stepped away from my business before like I have since November (2025).
It honestly was a break that I needed.
Baby Utley arrived Dec 4th and knowing if I hadn't stepped back when I did I wouldn't have been ready for him.
The original plan was to stay out of work until sometime in Feb/early March, but life and adult responsibilities are showing their ugly head earlier than planned.
If you remember we didnt have the smoothest Aug - November.
I have a dr appointment today which Im hoping will give me clearance to return to work in the next week or so.
I am so excited to get back to work and see yall again!
When doors reopen Ill still be operating from home (but we have something BIG in the works)
Hours will be limited at first just so I can work my way back into it. Until we get a schedule down, Ill be working around when Stephen is home to watch the baby. (Thank goodness for an easy baby).

I've taken some time to reevaluate policy and procedures and will be updating those before doors reopen.

The product line will be returning (with some changes) in the near future aswell.

There also will be new services coming over the next 3 to 6 months. Which im excited to introduce you all too!

When I started Center Yourself Holistics LLC I opened my doors with the intentions to never be like corporate. I prided myself on knowing the people I came in contact with. I loved the idea and knowing I helped people everyday. I was determined to be open and honest with my people, hoping for the same grace and patience that I gave.

As you all know Stephen was in a really bad car accident on August 1st. It took me out of work for longer than I thought. I got back to it as fast as I could being 6/7ish months pregnant on top of it.
Stephen made it possible for me to slow down and be at home where I was needed which means he was our families bread winner.
His accident took a toll and still is. Due to his ankle surgeries and nerve damage it's looking like he will be out of work until after Christmas. Ill be hitting 34 weeks on Saturday. As most of you know Im doing everything I can to work as long as I can.

This isn't me or us asking for a free hand out. We both have trades we pride ourselves in and are willing to use those when we both can again.

Im running a gift card promo that if all of the cards sell it will get us through 3 months of making it by.

These gift cards can be purchased starting today and will go until November 5th or supplies last.

The The Holistic Homestead also has products that the sale of can help us as well. From tumblers, designed reusable burlap bags, car decals, homemade: salsa, relish and cowboy candy.

I have been MIA lately, with all good reason. With Stevie down, homeschooling starting at the end of the week (supposed to be atleast - we may wait, thats a plus side of homeschooling), and all the dr appts around here 😅
I am finally working work back into the schedule.
Im maxing myself out at 1 session a day. Realizing I cant be on my feet for longer than 90 minutes at a time truly hurts my soul.
I understand this will make it harder for bookings. Im trying to get the schedules predictable as possible.
The goal is still to take maternity leave at the end of October.

If you've been interested in Stevies recovery;
We found out yesterday it's actually 3 screws in his ankle and no plate (we were going off of what they told us when leaving the hospital) He did have his splint removed and is now in a boot. He is still no weight bearing for another ATLEAST 12 weeks.
His left thigh lacerations look great! I've been taking care of wound care everyday and to watch its progress makes my heart happy.
We have a follow up about his spine on Thursday- so I can update after that.

He has a long road of recovery, but im just thankful hes alive.
